    Portland Trailblazers -3.5

I know that the Bucks have won their last 5 and are playing well. I know about the 'classic letdown spot' the Blazers are in playing their first game back home after a long road trip. I know the Blazers just traded Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby, cut Greg Oden, and fired their coach Nate McMillan all on one day on March 15th. I also know that quick point guards can SHRED the Blazers at times, and the Bucks have Brandon Jennings. The Bucks also just picked up speedster/shredder/slasher extraordinaire Monta Ellis. Ilyasova and Gooden also worry me a bit on the boards.

However, I am taking Portland Trailblazers -3.5 for the following reasons. I truly believe the Blazers players and fans have great faith in their ownership and management. This is the Blazers first game in the garden since March 5th and, more importantly in my opinion, since the Blazers 'blew sht up' just 5 days ago. I think that the players and fans will be very psyched up. Lamarcus, Batum, and Felton are now cemented as the future of this franchise. I'm looking for big games from all of them, as well as Wes Matthews, who the Blazers are taking a leap of faith in with the moves they made. He will be ready to prove himself here against two other young quality guards.

Although the quickness of the Bucks guards as well as a possible Bucks rebounding advantage worry me, I really like this 'spot' for the Blazers. I wouldn't be surprised to see a classic Blazers home blowout, but I think they win between 6-10. Best of luck tonight everyone.

good news for you is the Bucks don't seem to play well after 2 or more days off ( i know it may be different now post-trade)

    - lost at home to PHX

    - Beat WASH by 1 and didn't cover

    - Lost to Philly by 12

    - beat knicks but that was before linsanity when everyone was beating them

    - Lost to Minnesota

those are the games they've played with 2 or more days off. Covered 1 out of 5, and that was vs the knicks when they were the knicks

A lot of reasons to take the bucks here. Beside all the things you mentioned,( and more that I won't take the time to list), there is a lot of positivity coming from the bucks camp if you read the right blogs and such. They just improved on their biggest weakness, which was a go to scorer late in games. They've been waiting and practicing in portland for a few days. etc. etc. I'm sure you looked into it. You are playing your gut, which can be ones best tools, but you are gambling tonight. You're saying blazers are going to all of a sudden do all these things well because basically it's just going to be their night....you're gambling----> -ev long term

They still have Crawford. Also, Portland has the worst/least attractive cheerleaders in the league. I blame the ugly red head for making the squad the last few years.

I'm just going to stay away here. I don't think anyone knows what to expect from Portland. They haven't played at home in over 2 weeks, they have a new coach, and are still re-arranging their roster after the trade. I could see POR winning by double digits or losing by double digits. It's crazy how far the Blazers have fallen. Two months ago this line would have been POR -8.

i'm dumb, still like the bet, even more because the deadline is past. he was playing like trash when he was on the block, doubt it was coincidence. and yeah they have the worst in the league.

you're wrong if you think they just got a go to scorer late in games. i have watched almost every warriors game since we got ellis, and he is not clutch. he botches every single time when the other team knows he is about to take a shot. it is almost unreal. he just does not get to the rack nearly as often, and he clanks pull up jumpers. i cannot believe how low his % must be at the end of quarters when we were playing for last shot with ellis running flat 1 and 4. and his % decreases even more the later the game is. look at how many games the warriors blew down the stretch this year. yeah, they gave up a few offensive rebounds and such, but ellis was our go to man....

and i am going with more than my gut here, i guess you'll just have to trust me. best of luck with your plays, besides Bucks if you're on it.

^Yeah. Something about her is just.. ugh. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they aren't attractive, but compared to the rest of the league, they're a step below.

Hate to burst the bubble here, but I went to a Blazers game last month and sat a couple rows behind the cheerleaders.....90% of them are buckled.

i'd bang the hell out of all 3, but besides the rack in the middle this isn't too much to speak about.

cannot believe the lack of material. the pics i've posted in this thread are some of the best i've found after looking for possibly over 5 minutes. it's pathetic. knicks were loaded.

Haha, they are bad. They used to have some bangin cheerleaders a few years back, but it's gone downhill lately. Again, I blame the red head.
