Dam, just finished watching the Cav's game and looking at the Lakers/Suns score and is the Suns really up by 17??? I have Lakers -2.5 for the game. Dam, this team is shit.
Phoenix has been playing at a ridiculous level, scoring with 15 seconds left on the Shot Clock literally every time driving the field. Lakers can't keep up with this speed, unless they finally start making some layups. I stayed away from the spread once I saw 70% on the Lakers, the fouls have been late and for Pheonix so far; just saying.
Perhaps you could hedge @ half in the Den/OKC game.
Jago - you're exactly correct about the late foul calls going for Phoenix.
I'm not sure who to lay in the Den/OKC game. I'm already on OKC but they look real poor right now. I may have to take the Suns 3rd quarter if this continues.
When will people on here realize that the Lakers and Celtics just aren't really that good. Both are 1st round playoff exits. I must say though, the Lakers are much better than the Celts. Celts may finish the season below .500 and miss the playoffs.
Just look at the Lakers roster. After the big 3, all of those guys are garbage. The middle and back end of their roster looks like the Bobcats roster.
Everyone knew PG was a major problem for them last year, and they did nothing about it. They should have drafted Isaiah Thomas from Washington who is playing really well for the Kings right now.
Betting against Lakers and Celtics on the road are money makers. They are both old, and teams always get up to play Boston and LA. And the lines will always be over inflated because the books know that the public will pound LAL and BOS regardless of the line.
Why in the world do the Celtics who are a .500 team deserve to be 5 point favorites on the road to a hot Detroit team?
And why are the lakers 2.5 point favorites to a pretty good Suns team. They aren't the old Suns, but they can still play. Put PHX in the east, and they are a .500 team.
