Authorities were reportedly called to the home of former New York Knicks head coach and Hall of Fame basketball player Isiah Thomas's home on a report of a possible overdose. Multiple reports say police and emergency officials were called to his New York home on word of a possible overdose just after midnight this morning. WCBS-TV says Thomas overdosed on sleeping pills and was rushed to a local hospital. According to the "Journal News," a representative at Madison Square Garden said Thomas was "fine."

Thomas was relieved of his duties with the Knicks after last season, but remains with the organization as a consultant. The 47-year-old spent two seasons as coach of the Knicks and compiled a 56-108 record as head coach.
