Why the hell are the Spurs +7???

Lakers have looked crappy this week, just strolling into the playoffs while the Spurs are playing great and are fighting for the best record in the NBA. They most likely have to win their last two games to get the best record assuming the Bulls beat the Knicks and Nets.

WTF?!?!?!? This is one of the weirdest lines I have ever seen, can anyone explain this?

And why are the Knicks +7.5 against the Bulls?

Spurs said that there game on Saturday night, they were possibly gonna bench Duncan/Parker/Ginobili, which didn't make sense because they are still playing for Home Court Advantage throughout. Apparently they don't care about that, and it only matters if they make it to the finals. Who knows how long those 3 will play tonight.

The Bulls will play their asses off. No Stoudemire for the knicks, and the Bulls want that best record. They want EVERYONE to come through Chicago to win it.

Knicks are also locked in at their spot...have absolutely nothing to play for. Might as well rest the busted up Billups, doubt he goes over 30 minutes tonight.

Lakers are the of the night. They are going to come out tonight and show the world they are the champs. It will be like the beat down the Lakers gave the Spurs in San Antonio last time these teams met. Course it will be against guys like Gary Neal, Bonner and David Green.

I don't know the spurs and lakers might end up resting everyone. This game could be played by both teams D leaguers. Motivation to win for either team is Totally unknown. I would not bet on the NBA till the playoffs start.

it could be cuz the spurs might get some rest because they are kinda old.. so maybe the coach thinks it is in the best interest of the team to give them rest... and bulls already got best record and numba 1 seed in east so they might get rest early.... vegas is in it to make money so maybe they know something

Sounds like someone hasn't watched a Laker game this week.

Lakers are on their worst losing streak in 4 years, they do not want to go into the playoffs on the slide and will be playing to end that streak. Coach Pop doesn't care about the overall record, he doesn't want to risk injury with the top seed in the west sewn up. The starters will play enough to stay competitive and keep them sharp but expect a heavy bench rotation. Pop wants the bench guys to get some time, especially Tiago Splitter and extended time against the Laker's bigs would be great for Splitter.

There is a good chance Spurs lay down here so that there is no chance they face the Lakers in the second round.

I love when coach wants to rest players, it is most overrated thing in world. One night off does not refresh players , although it makes them rusty.

Only injuries help a player as far as a day off.

Rest = no chance of injury. Look at Delonte West last night.

Do you really think the Spurs are going to try to win this game? They have nothing to play for.

Pop will rest pretty much everyone.
And of course people still think the Lakers are obsessed with getting the #2 seed, so it'll continue to move up.

I agree, lakers need a win, spurs dont, I expect the lakers to rout the spurs despite being on a losing streak. They need this win.

Can't see the Lakers losing 6 in a row and the Spurs probably wont take it as serious, sitting thier starters more often than the Lakers.

You think these guys got nothing to play for? Believe me, they will show up BIGTIME.

These guys got mad love for the game, they are in it to win it. It's just a way of life..so pure.

Twist, turn, pump fake in yo' face.

The fans go crazy if someone gets blocked..

These guys simply love it and they will give everything they got.

Spurs will take this down pretty easy.

the spurs have clinched the 1 seed and have nothing to play for while the game means everything to the lakers curently a half a game behind dallas for the 2 seed thats why the line is 7 spurs will be resting there players
