alright guys, we are heading off the HOMESTEAD , and its sadly race #36, the finale, its over, we have just this 1 left....sad to see the payouts not coming weekly, but bright side is that Feb isn't too far away ya know..lo...it will be here in a flash!...and i never though 2012 season could ever be topped, like ever, and we have done it the very next year!!!! even losing 6 straight races for the 1st time in my NASCAR gambling career...

we have ALL 3 series on their finale race with trucks Fri Night again, Nationwide on late Saturday afternoon, and the Sprint Cup finale on Sunday afternoon...they are a few guys that have several wins here in the last 10 years (1 race a year only) and the champ even over makes that not even some into play besides jimmie never wins here because he never has to...and he wont win this race either...just an overall odd race every year

just wanted to really say THANK YOU to all my regulars for all the insight, smart-assness, fun, informatrion, leans, opinions, and helping me live off this crazy, AWSOME, and fun sport...without the very few 5 mabe 6 regulars help and i could never be as good as i am or any of us are...we are the best for a reason, and not only @ SBR, that's anywhere...trust me, when u start getting emails and calls and they know who WE are, that's when u know ur good fellas....and i hope it continues for another great 3 years here, sticking together is the only way to keep this CASH COW going!!!! just cant thank all the regulars enough

ill be studying, tweaking my systems and profit margins, and seeing what i can get better in any way, and getting ready for next year in late December after my yearly vacation i have to take the old lady on...you can always get better, and I have every single year, so don't just blow it off til speed weeks fellas!!!!! just like last year, i noted my chase strategy for this season and look what its done, cut down on maxing mire than 1 or 2 h2hs at the MAX a race and most of the time 0 in cup, and that's saved me so much $ i cant even tell u...even little teaks make BIG money differences

anyways, off to HOMESTEAD which isn't very exciting, jimmie has it in the bad once again, and im not that fond of this the racetrack probably the least 1.5 on the schedule...but good thing is its nit like any others, and teams really have no notes because it bakes in the sun all year and changes constantly..but there have been great races, and should have GREAT odds this week again that paid off handsomely this week as well

IOve already starting ready my thinnest notebook homestead and reading up on the drivers notebooks for here as well, and wathing past 4-5 races this week to refresh my memory./..so it will be a LONG week of prep work for me...might as welll go out without yet another HUGE win right?...even if we don't wont effect the 2013 season, the best ive ever had....til 2014 that is

sound like mike and i do the same thing....i go on vacation for thanksgiving after a very long season. i by plane tickets for my buds in ohio and we sit at the venitian and watch ohio st v michigan. drinks on me if you guys wanna join. 9am on saturday for the tip. all fans welcome regardless of the team colors. last year we made michigan fans cash out our ohio st money. good times. (and probably cheaper then the wife route)

on a side note...i just learned over the weekend that the sprint commercial with the old guys on scooters are actually matt and clint....couldnt even tell. wonder if thats a current sprint cup girl also

yep vinny, well i always take my woman (of 10 yrs still, not married yet but not for any real season, hell lived together 8 years now i think) and we take a nice relaxing vacation of her choice.... i mean in the U.S, anyways...1/2 season it does get tiring though im not complaining just alot of work...so we usually take a mini get away during an off weekend then too but nothing too fancy or anything...not like i can do that...its nice too with hjolidays in niv/dec to just get racing and the pressure of winning or losing $ off my mind for a few months....

Great writeup Mike as always to start the weekly thread. One never knows what twists and turns these threads will take throughout the week.

Nascar 2013 has definitely been a good year. Time flies, but as you said, Daytona will be here before we know it. I'm sure you'll have an off season thread to keep the momentum going, plus we have the sub-sub-forum threads which are brilliant.

Been told that Steve Addington will move from the #14 Stewart Haas Racing team and be Allgaier's crew chief. Think he made a good choice. I know he was injured and i know he can do anything in a vehicle with wheels, but I think it had become obvious raw talent alone isnt enough for him to win at NASCAR. You need bucket loads of experience as well for most people, even him.

Not surprised they can attract top people. That ride for Allgaiuer has been planned for 3 years in that first Turner Scott Cup car.... I am really looking forward to seeing who ends in the #50 if they start out with 2 cars next year.

he lives in here in Knoxville,TN but have not read the paper this morning...that disease can be flat out awful, or slowly bit all ends the same just how long it takes ....

there are some types that progress slower than others, hopefully thats his case and he still has plenty of years of driving..

read a story on espn, says he doesnt expect it to effect his racing career so thats a huge advantage...meds has come a LONG way in this dosease in that last 10 years even making progress alot slower sometimes...i read his sister also has MS...

remember in 2011 when he was real sick and they thought it was a big nite or something, but i think thats probably when it all started...

but there no way to know how fast or slow the symptoms can effect each individual...lets hope its slow for him...it can be a devastating disease and there is no cure of course for those that are not aware on the subject

(not that im any expert, just from working in medicine for years i know some about it)
