Consolidating picks into one thread is the devil, never more!
[Olympics] Mexico to Advance -130 Senegal have certainly been a massive surprise in London. I don't think many if any expected them to make the QFs and to not have been saddled with a loss. I think Mexico has the edge here with a little better defensive unit. The Senegalese are still prone to making poor tackles, leading to cards and putting themselves into bad positions with free kicks. Konate will obviously be a handful, but the Mexicans have not given up a goal yet in this tournament. The Swiss match gave them some good prep because they faced some big pressure early, absorbed it and eventually wore down the Swiss for a goal late. That's part of the reason I'm going with Mexico to advance & not just to flat out win this match. Not sure they do it in regulation, but I think they have the team to get it done in extra time or PKs.
[LIVE Halftime] Brazil-Honduras Over 4 [+120]
Honduras will obviously try even harder to pack it in, but down a man this could get ugly. Taking a shot.
[MLS] Montreal-Philadelphia Over 2.5 [-140] Eight of nine @ home for the Impact have seen at least three goals, so I won't be looking to go against that trend. Montreal has also kept just one clean sheet in 12 home matches this season, so the Union should feel like they will be able to hit the score sheet. The Union have scored at least once in six of their last seven overall. The road has been a mixed bag for Philly, but one thing has stayed constant and that is giving up goals. They have only one clean sheet on the road in nine matches. Montreal has scored multiple goals in three straight @ home.
[Mexico Primera] Atlas-Tigres UANL Over 2/2.5 [+104] Atlas was one of the worst scoring sides in the league last season with just seven goals in 13 matches in the Clausura. They made systematic changes to provide a more attacking style in the Apertura. So far, that has yielded some dividends with four goals in two matches. One of their key acquisitions is former Tigres player, Mancilla who already has a goal this season. Tigres doesn't seem to have missed him much with six goals in their first two league matches. Their talisman in the midfield, Lobos, leads the way with two goals. Looking for both to be keen to net some goals tonight.
