Seems like some solid cavity back irons although I would of got Callaway if they were my 1st real set. A used set of x14 would of saved you some money and have a more attractive profile imo.

Used to have x12's but upgrade to Titleist 755's with rifle shafts and tv grips.

I have a pair of the Adidas powerband shoes. They are really heavy shoes. I don't like them all that much.

Was just trying to help you out bro. And I ain't serious about gof at all. My weekend group always brings a case of beer and a few blunts.

For a newb like you I woulda went with used clubs all around. After a year or two you will want new clubs anyway. For you, I woulda went with a TM R9 (even R7 would work) driver/5wood/hybrid, an older model of super game improvement Calloway irons (like someone said before, can't go wrong with Calloway irons), used 2 ball putter, clev wedges, and a walking/stand bag from costco (pretty nice Calloway bags last time I looked)

I would always recommend beginners to learn how hit a draw/hook. Go to the range with a 6 iron and keep hitting balls until you can hit 5 hooks in a row. Doesn't matter where it goes for now but learning to hook the ball will put you way ahead of the curve in terms of swing mechanics

Griz, like most things there are varying levels of quality but the MOST important thing is finding something that works for you. If the clubs you just bought are what works for you and make you happy fok what others think.

I play TaylorMade SuperFast 9.5 stiff driver, Ping stiff 17 degree G-20 hybrid, TaylorMade Burner 2.0 stiff 2.5 degrees upright irons and TaylorMade Ghost Pure Roll putter.

Griz, please rake the bunkers. The blunt smokin'. beer drinkin' 70's shootin' (bbbbbbullshit) guys always seem to leave the traps in worse condition than when they entered.

i'm a 5 and freevick knows that of which he speaks....even if he comes off as a dick lol

my bag = tm r11 driver, sonartec 3w (old as shit but if there's anything better out there i've not ever seen it), 4i cleveland hybrid, mizuno irons, cleveland wedges

#1 golf tip....keep it fukkin moving....from a guy who shoots mid 70's - low 80's, none of our fukkin shots are that important to take 20 minutes standing over

i barely play anymore cuz it takes too fukkin long

im a TM guy as well, although i play with mizuno blades right now. my first set of irons were TM Rac OS, loved them and still have them. every time im in a funk i bust them out. so easy to hit. how do you like the 2.0s? seriously thought about getting a set. fcking love the black finish, which is why i use a R9 super tri (previously used the R7 superquad) but i heard they are "too long". i dont have a gap wedge so the difference between the P and my 54 would be too much

i dont roll used clubs. i roll factory sealed shit

regardless of what these nike and cleveland clubs really are in pro golfer's eyes - i can guarantee you they are better than my previous clubs (dunlop max plus specials from 89)

they will be here tomorrow and i am pumped.

In all honesty I LOVE the 2.0's. In February I knew I was getting all new stuff and I started with the RocketBallz and they truly were long but I hated the 4 and 5 iron with the hybrid stlye muscle back. I hit the R-11's and they were long and forgiving and with the KBS shaft seriously great irons. Then I hit the 2.0's and hit them equally with the R-11's with the exception of the pitching wedge which I actually hit the R-11 longer but at half the price it was a no-brainer to go with the 2.0's.

I'm all about putting and one thing I never replace is a putter but I tried this new PureRoll Ghost putter and fell in-love with it.
