I disagree. If you follow the PGA Tour and European Tour on a weekly basis, it's very enjoyable to watch. If you just tune in on Sat/Sun afternoon to watch the final 9 holes on TV...then yes, it's probably not going to be that enjoyable.

I still enjoy watching very much. I'm a Woods fan, so I'd love to see him back in true form and I'll continue to follow until he's back.

It doesnt matter that the equipment is better when they're playing entirely different courses, instead of 6800 yards Augusta what is it now 7600 yrds or something, Tigers playing 2 extra par 4s every round he plays and still setting all-time scoring records, the courses have been toughened and lengthened in accordance to technology, if Tiger or Jack played the old courses with modern technology they would both shoot 65 everytime but fortunately theyve added 800 yards to make up for it. Sure Tiger wouldnt have hit the ball as far with older equipment, fortunately they knocked off 800 yrds of the course to make up for his loss in distance. Tiger plays in an entirely different era (an era that produces better players) more money, more fitness, more instruction, more practice time, along with the fact that there are just alot more golfers trying to get on tour than there were in Jacks day bc the prize is so great, you dont have to be Tiger to be rich you just have to be able to play on tour and you're an instant millionaire, in Jacks day if you werent top 10 you were probably a golf pro at some country club to make ends meet, not true in today's world.
