with the msw for 3yo ending tomorrow going to play these at belmont and churcill..2yo's will be few and far between for a while at these tracks and want to focus on categories I like
sloppy tracks ok (different)..
turf races (like the other) must be on it..
graded but not tallied (don't want extra work)

like that sprint line as a set up to drop and stretch out.. ran well here in her first two career starts.. chance to recoup some of the money they paid for her as all purses here this week are way above what they normally are.. trainer a money burner but excellent with shippers

trainer off to a fast start.. good placement for this horse and will benefit from the debut experience at turfway..winner of that race ran a big figure.. gaffalione rides and he tabbed 3 winners saturday on opening day

not category race but msw @ 1 1/4 miles on dirt are rare so want to give it a go..they're obviously doing it because of derby week
godolphin (big outfit) homebred makes his 3rd career start here in a 1 1/4 maiden dirt race.. nice pedigree and can see a big effort with his past two under him.. dam by a p indy and that's top of the heap for stamina and class.. she has also been productive with her offspring.. trainer solid numbers over a large sample and despite that still a bit under the radar

Hey JBEX: when are you releasing your KYD selection? I have looked over the form, and have some leans. And will make my final decision by Sat afternoon. Checking out the BRIS and going read Bloodhorse capping article on the race. I am only investing $35 or I might have purchased the t-graph sheets for that day. GL.

saturday morning latest..have looked over brisnets and have some idea which way i'm going,but not committing yet
play some churchill today..last 2 at belmont are races that fit categories and going to look..since I know churchill is sloppy not going to restrict categories today

R2 #3 maximum risk (10-1)
first time starter up for $10k from the same owner/breeder as the other maximum (security)..the latter broke his maiden by almost 10 in his debut and interestingly enough was up for sale for $16k in that race..lucky they didn't lose him as that might have gone down as one of the biggest mistakes in horse racing history..have to think they must be pretty sure this one doesn't have the goods to put him up for $10k

like the move up to $50k after debuting last out for 20..ran evenly behind a ridiculously slow pace in that race so consider that effort not so bad..although trainer is having an awful year , this type of thing (maiden claimers and winning early)is an area of expertise for her over time
