    TAB Weclomes In New Racing Season

    The counters are back to zero as the 2012/13 season is underway. In just three days we've already seen plenty of excitement the on track and tomorrow we'll see the first group race of the new season with the running of the Group 3 EstarOnline Winter Cup. Today, John Jenkins previews the Riccarton feature, as well as the $200,000 Terminating Pick6 at the same venue. Stu Bailey (Harness) and Peter Fenemor (Greyhounds) are back for another season too.

    Racing season runs during spring/summer in Australia. Spring is September 1.

    Not much use having the racing season run through the fall/winter.

    To me if a meet is running its racing season
    I do not see Aus Racing closing at all during the year

    USA no such thing

    If any racing actually shuts down in Country for lets say a month then racing season begins but if 12 months a year racing season starts Jan 1

    TAB everywhere in Aussie. I used to frequent them often back in my Marine days.
    You could also wager Aussie ruby games there, plus they all had full service bars.
