do you have any statistical evidence to prove this?

i think in the usa the favorite wins 31% of the time, would imagine might be similar down under

this isn't my data so I can't vouch for it's validity:

Winning Percentages of favourites by field size: Australian racing (196,755 races)

    17+starters........... 23.2%
    16 .......................26.2%
    15........................27.1%
    14 ......................27.8%
    13 ......................29.2%
    12 ......................29.7%
    11 ......................31.2%
    10 ......................32.3%
    9 ....................... 33.1%
    8 ........................35.4%
    7 ....................... 37.3%
    6 ....................... 41.5%

I think it is also to do with the stewards.

In Australia, if they stewards think the jockey is mucking about - with so many punters across oz
putting money into the industry via TAB - the stewards can ban them for over 1 year - to make sure
punters believe in the racing's integrity and every horse is running a clean race.

While in UK, you do the math - average race midweek is worth £2,000 to the winner, yearly training costs are around £30,000 - are all the horses going to win more than 15 races a year - or are the owners going
on betting exchanges and laying it for £5,000+ profit per year to make sure the bills are covered !

UK racing has become a joke from top to toe - to how it is broadcast to the masses on TV - to the way, bookies have taken over control and the BHA stick theer heads up their own asses and think we still
have the best racing in the world - well,it was back in the 1970 and 1980's !

    Coach:

We should start betting Australia horses. We should start a betting group. Get the capital.

There is a good American web-site for the Australian racing going into Vegas casinos.

If you sign up - you get live video of 2 Australian tracks everyday

    australianracing.com

it comes with form - very well recommended

You need to have accounts in Australia and bet locally

Those usa tracks offered are not going into the tab pools but the usa pools and only 2 tracks offered

And the fastest horse in the world right now races in Australia (well, fastest for six furlongs at least).

What's wrong with that? Probably not hard to find overlays.

Black Caviar is amazing sprinter. I can't wait to watch Frankel this coming year. An amazing horse who should finish up his 4 yr old campaign at the classic next year.. Also watch out for sepoy should be another great horse to look out for also.

Horse racing legit in any NON stake race or any stake race with a purse under 20 dimes anywhere on the planet

    Think about it
the chalk wins 5 in a row
moves up in class every time
think of those lay odds when you put the screws to the jockey

Aussie racing is way more legit than usa racing

Way too many people watch it, in Australia watching racing all day and night is like usa people watching the news all day and night

Racing on all over the country and in restaurants, pubs, ect

Big money bet there if you add up tote pools, fixed odds pool, online books, local bookies.
