Betting Forecast: 7/4 Sunset Boulevard, 5/2 Thundering Home, 6/1 Derby Desire, 7/1 Mister Bit, 8/1 Vezere, 10/1 Miss Bounty, 33/1 Final Try
VERDICT SUNSET BOULEVARD has been in better form of late on the all-weather without looking like winning but that's still more than can be said for most of these. He rates no more than a cautious selection back on the turf. Thundering Home was spotted making late headway at Lingfield on his latest start but hasn't won since early last year, whileMiss Bounty scored on the all-weather last month, but that was over a mile and a visor replaces the usual cheekpieces today. Mister Bit may improve for the application of blinkers but the remainder have no recent form to recommend them.

    FORMWATCH
Mister Bit (IRE) 14-1 (8-13) Chased leaders, under pressure over 3f out, soon weakened, last of 10, 11l behind Prince Apollo (9-6) at Lingfield 1m 2f hacp 0-70 (5) pol in Mar.
Thundering Home 8-1 (9-6) In rear, ridden and headway over 1f out, stayed on, not reached leaders, 4th of 13, 4l behind Moresweets 'n Lace (9-7) at Lingfield 1m 2f hcp 0-60 (6) pol.
Vezere (USA) 10-1 (9-5) In touch on inside, ridden well over 2f out, soon beaten, 10th of 11, 15l behind Mr Chocolate Drop (9-2) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-60 (6) pol in Jan.
Miss Bounty 16-1 (8-9) Tracked leaders, ridden and weakened over 1f out, 11th of 13, 12l behind Spinning Ridge (9-5) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-68 (6) pol in Mar.
Sunset Boulevard (IRE) 15-2 (9-4) Mid-division, travelling well 3f out, nowhere to go on inside from over 1f out until switched left and strong run inside final furlong, went 3rd close home, 3rd of 14, 4 1/2l behind Noah Jameel (8-6) at Kempton 1m 2f hcp 0-60 (6) pol in Feb.
Derby Desire (IRE) 12-1 (8-4) Tracked leaders, ridden 3f out, weakened over 1f out, 6th of 7, 9l behind Prince Apollo (9-7) at Brighton 1m 2f hcp 0-70 (5) gf.
Final Try 50-1 (8-0) Led, headed halfway, soon weakened, last of 8, 21l behind Angelena Ballerina (9-7) at Lingfield 1m hcp 0-60 (6) pol.

Betting Forecast: 11/4 Royal Riviera, 7/2 Apache Chant, 6/1 Eastwell Smiles, 6/1 Perkin Warbeck, 7/1 Eldred, 8/1 Van Boxtal, 10/1 Ben Cee Pee M, 12/1 Second Brook
VERDICT The looks a good deal easier than the last two races that ELDRED has contested and, though well beaten over this trip at Kempton last time, the five-year-old is taken to get off the mark here. Apache Chant looks the danger as he was only beaten half-a-length off this mark over C&D earlier this month. Eastwell Smiles was well placed to complete a hat-trick over the winter but pulled up on his first start for new connections and Second Brook was beaten in a claimer here last time. Royal Riviera won a maiden hurdle at Hereford last month, however, and makes more appeal than the exposed Perkin Warbeck.

    FORMWATCH
Royal Riviera 14-1 (10-12) Made all, ridden before last, stayed on well flat, won at Hereford 2m 4f mdn hdl (4) gs in Mar beating Reginaldinho (11-1) by 2 1/2l, 10 ran.
Eldred (IRE) 33-1 (11-2) In touch in mid-division, headway 5th, ridden after next, weakened approaching 3 out, 6th of 9, 49l behind Araldur (11-2) at Kempton 2m 5f nh nov hdl (4) gd in Mar.
Eastwell Smiles 9-2 (11-1) Led, ridden and headed after 3 out, weakened 2 out, pulled up before last, in a race won by Pegasus Prince (11-2) at Uttoxeter 2m nov hcp hdl 0-125 (3) hvy in Jan, 9 ran.
Perkin Warbeck 14-1 (10-13) Towards rear, outpaced 8th, headway under pressure approaching 2 out, soon ridden, chased leading pair between last 2, kept on flat, 3rd of 14, 2l behind Molly Round (11-2) at Wincanton 2m 6f hcp hdl 0-105 (4) gs in Feb.
Apache Chant (USA) 12-1 (9-11) Held up, ridden and headway after 6th, led 3 out, hard pressed threafter, ridden and edged right 2 out, headed flat, just held, 2nd of 11, 1/2l behind Badgers Cove (11-10) at Ludlow 2m 5f nov hcp hdl 0-125 (3) gd.
Second Brook (IRE) 7-2fav (10-6) Mid-division, pushed along 5th, headway approaching 3 out, mistake 2 out, stayed on flat, went 2nd post, no impression on winner, 2nd of 10, 7l behind Supernoverre (10-9) at Ludlow 2m nov clm hdl (5) gd in Mar.
Ben Cee Pee M (IRE) 17-2 (11-8) Chased leaders, outpaced 4 out, kept on under pressure until weakened before last, 6th of 15, 21l behind Rockabilly (11-8) at Exeter 2m 7f nov hcp hdl 0-105 (4) gd in Mar.
Van Boxtal (IRE) 50-1 (11-12) Never better than mid-division, 12th of 28, 19l behind Mull On The Run (11-12) at Navan 2m mdn hdl gf in Sep '09.
