    a player is alot more likely to die from something to do with normal play, like a puck in the face or a heart attack.

    not many extremely healthy people under 40 have died from this....... people die from the seasonal flu every year............

    don't get me wrong, this is more contagious and deadly than the seasonal flu........

    personally, i say just cancel the NBA and NHL......... it seems so artificial to keep it going.

    Fine. Marner can stay home. There are 100's that will take his place. Maybe not at his level, but those that step up will prove there's nothing to worry about. And people will forget quickly about the players who chose to stay home.
