I think the NHL needs to put a team back in Quebec City. Toronto could easily support another team as well

Don't think that's ever going to happen,Quebec City has jumped through hoops and none of its made a difference.

Seattle yes! We support a whole WHL division - portland. There are a lot of hockey fans here in seattle and the youth leagues and adult leagues are very active. I personally dont like the name the mets.... ugh

once Seattle enters the league will need to move a team out of west to the east to balance the conferences 16 teams each...

    Quebec City Coyotes
    Nordiques sounds too soft

    then....# 33, 34.....Houston, and bring back Hartford Whalers ?

Also did you hear the owner of the Senators talking about how they never get enough attendance. I was surprised after last year's playoff run especially. But I guess the location of the rink arena is too far drive outskirts of the population.

Melnyk is an asshole. Looking for a free rink downtown. Where they going to put it? Downtown Ottawa is small. University town.

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see Anchorage get a team.

I wouldn't mind a little reshuffling of the league to get a franchise back in Quebec.

I'd also like to see smaller cities up north get some of those southern teams that can't fill seats. Seattle (thou tough w/ Vancouver right there) seems logical. You'd be surprised but I think if the economics of hockey are scaled a little more to protect profitability, that cities like Saskatoon or Hamilton (Canada) could sell out to a local fan base.
