    I've played sports (besides hockey) with semi-pro NHL players before. I'm faster than them, jump higher, am more agile. Hockey is a game of skill, not athleticism. Why do you think guys play till their 40.....

    Comparing hockey athletes to nba athletes that run 4.2s jump 40 inches in the air and are built like steel

    You ain't wrong. A lot of the NHL guys come out from the ohl with no post secondary. On the other hand, attending college doesn't make you smart or better. I'm sure that if there was a similar farm system into the big leagues like there is witj Hockey and soccer, most of these guys would take it over college.
