I know this is a bad spot situationally, but I could not resist Ottawa +136. Also added 1/2 unit play on Sens -1 +247

NHL teams don't usually tank Game 2s after winning the openers like NBA do. Still, tough to win twice on the road, but if the Senators win tonight the series is all but over. So they should have plenty of motivation.

I guess you feel the game could go over then since you need to cover 2

I wasn't thinking about the total when I made this play. I was thinking Ottawa would play more cautiously and Buffalo would come out guns a blazin, which they did in the first period.

I look at the possibility of playing the under when the number is high like 6 or 6.5 and look to play over when it is 5, if I like the game. 5 is important as a 2-2 tie is a push at worst. I never considered playing the total in this game.

I was thinking 2-0 3-0 3-1 4-0 or 4-1 for Buffalo. Although the score could easily have been 3-1 after the first period.

AC, thats a tough way to lose an under bet. 5.8 seconds and a gift bounce to a Sabre with the open net. Ouch!

just found out how the game went down
    went to catch a movie
I would have stayed with the ottawa play
but reconsidered when I caught your post for buff laying 1.5
I am coming back tomorrow with anaheim
    no worries

I didn't watch much of Ottawa in the first 2 rounds, but after these two games, I think they are clearly the best team left in the playoffs. Tons of speed, lots of depth and good enough goaltending.

Hard to believe Emery was 0-4 in OTs before tonight.

Buffalo might get a game in Ottawa, but this one should be over, with maybe the Sens getting some rest before the Cup finals.
