Pay the price and take the New York Rangers this afternoon when they take on the Flyers in Philadelphia.

As if the Flyers did not have enough problems, now they are without Peter Forsberg who was just recently traded to Nashville.

The Flyers are 15-34-3-5 overall. They have scored a total of 146 all year and allowed 212 goals. In the head-head with New York Philadelphia is 1-4 this season. The Rangers are 28-24-3-2 overall. They have scored a total of 170 and allowed a total of 164 goals all year.

Never have and never will understand laying that much lumber on a game. Takes 3 wins in a row now to get out with a small profit and if you lose two chalks in a row like this, good luck getting out.

Flyers are a "loosy-goosey" live dog lately, with or without Forsberg. Look for pretty good value with them here on in as the season is a bust and some great youngsters begin to find their way.
