    My Pick: Carolina

    Reason: Winnipeg is a bad away team. Carolina is a competent home team (12-11). Not a ringing endorsement picking Carolina I agree. But Winnipeg's Byfuglien and Kane are injured or sick. Carolina is both offensively and defensively better than the Jets over the past 10 games; giving up less goals and scoring more. The only thing the Jets have going for them is that they've won the last 3 times they've met. Still, I think this time it will be different given the circumstances so I locked in this bet real nice and early.

    Took the Canes -.5 in regulation @ +130

    Not sure if you tailed buddy, but that was really frigging close. I can't believe carolina didn't score another goal after that quick start.

    another quick start for the canes against the jets. thats usually the way the game ends up but the jets end up on top. couldnt mount the comeback though tonight, injuries caught up with them. Nice play.
