    Pinnacle's odds

    Hi to all,
some days ago I started betting on NCAA 1H.
My logic was simple-who the hell will bet on this?
the americans can't,the others don't watch NCAA,so only good players all around the world (including US) will move the odds.
betting on the smaller odds (around -115) the first 2 days I was 7-1,
    but then the things changed.
last two days I'm 2-2 (so overall 9-3),but the pricing is different.
yesterday's match Florida-Penn-the o64.5 was the smaller odds and it needed a dose of luck to come.
the spread was -6 the smaller odds, but I don't believe the money was on this. The spread for the entire game was -11 then -10.5 and
-6 1H isn't the value-they have to beat at half time with 7 when for the entire game is -10.5. Penn33-32Florida HT.

I think that Pinny and asians (for soccer) make such false movements in odds.I saw this in NHL 1H, KHL,etc.Asians
move the line 10min before kick off from -108 to +125 and the team
    leads early,winning easily.

Am I in the right direction?
if yes how to outsmart them?

Yes I think you are definately onto something. I too have seen Pinnacle lines falsely move away from where all the smart money is at Matchbook only to even their own books. Then they quickly move it back past where it came from. Sneaky but very smart people at Pinnacle.

Pinnacle only care about balancing their books via high volume, so if they get hit hard one side, they will change prices promptly, regardless of the rest of the industry. When the buy-back comes, they level out again. If it was a small book, you'd be concerned, but these guys have the clientbase to do it...

of course they want to balance their books.but not in all cases, sometimes to max the profits, Pinnacle (and asians books)
    also bet like us.
But I don't know the details..

Pinnacle is a book which is very very easy to beat.

Has anyone ever been limited or banned at Pinnacle? You certainly do not hear about it much on the boards here, like say your recreational books, 5Dimes, BOL.

It is untrue that American whales can't bet at Pinny, so the action on CBB halves is not as square as you think.

    that 's the reason I took NC-VILL under 76 1H.

    NCAAB not CBB.

If Pinny would be easy to beat, they would have gone out of business long ago with -105 lines on almost everything.
This thread is a joke ^^

Pfff, -105. They're -104 on mlb, -102.5 on larger soccer leagues.

Can't do that unless your linesmen are sharper than a sharp thing.

    Are you saying they don't?

And CBB (College Basketball) IS NCAAB, it means the same thing.

And obviously, Pinnacle is one of the toughest books in the world to beat. To think otherwise is simply assinine.

You didn't say anything about the KHL.
Do you bet on fixed matches there?

Are they the toughest to beat because they usually post the most *fair* lines, or are they toughest to beat because they can shade the line away from *fair* somewhat but still avoid the sharp action?

    Later.

In at least some of the cases, their line IS the sharp action.....

moonbeam thinks it is easy to beat pinny? unless you bet rigged games

heehaww and peep know pinny lines very well.

btw, i used to move pinny lines all the time. doesn't take that much to move half lines since their limits are much lower than the game. i usually know i am on the wrong side, when i make a limit bet, the line moved then bounce right back 30 seconds later. if i move the line then the line keep moving or the game is taken offline, then i am on the right side. just my experience.
