Trying to decide between two positions: QB and WR.
QB:
Derek Carr @ Pitt
Matt Ryan @ SF
WR:
Allen Robinson @ Jets
Brandon LaFell vs Redskins
QB seems like a real toss up. Ryan has the easier matchup, but volume could be a problem as they may not throw much in the second half. I doubt Gabbert and SF puts up many points. Carr should be airing it out a lot, but Pitt has been pretty tough on defense lately, especially at home. They just held Dalton in check and prior to that kept Palmer and the Cards in check.
ARob is obviously the better WR but has a tough draw against Revis. I hate to sit my studs, but I also hate to start a guy going up against a shutdown corner. Revis has held every opposing #1WR in check so far (Edelman, Landry, Amari Cooper, etc.). LaFell has a nice matchup and has seen a ton of targets in both his games. I'm kind of leaning LaFell here but it feels wrong.
Made up my mind, going with LaFell. Still undecided at QB. Carr has the tougher matchup but he should be throwing for 4 quarters. Ryan the easier matchup but will probably play it safe 2nd half. Tyrod seems like the wildcard. I'm trying to find every reason not to go with Ryan. That guy has been real annoying owning this year.
Sf ball control? Theyll be lucky to score 2 tds. 49ers have about 4 starting corners out today, just saying... Allen Robinson is not a stud and never will be
Went with Carr and LaFell. In the end, it didn't matter, still lost by about 6. My team put up points, but I ran into an even better opponent.
Ryan is pretty droppable. I think he's around the QB18 this year. He has little to no upside, and his bad games have been real bad.
And you are wrong Goat, Allen Robinson is a budding star. He just doesn't get the recognition down in Jacksonville. Dude just put up 121 yards on Revis. That's got to be the most yards Revis has given up in a long time, maybe a couple seasons.
