Ohio State is trying to get ahead of the mess that Jim Tressel has created for the school. Tressel was given a $250,000 fine and a two game suspension against Akron and Toledo by the University. Ohio State admitted that their football coach is guilty of committing a major NCAA violation.
The sanctions were levied by the school, and are separate from any penalties that may (will) be imposed by the NCAA.
What's wrong with the picture?
Calhoun gets 6 BE game suspension for phones calls (that he didn't even make) and this fucktard gets this slap on the wrist?
Tressell will get 5 games. The school may lose a bowl game this season. There will be scholarships lost. Tressell has been a dirty coach since the day he stepped on to that campus. Now the whiney little liar pays for it.
Itch...I haven't gotten in-depth with the Big 10 as of yet, but I like the way Wisconsin has played the past few years. I look for them to be strong again.
Bigdaddy has already done some good study on the Big Ten and has posted some early summaries here on the forum.
