Both of these teams were predicted to win their MAC divisions, respectively, in the preseason coaches poll. That being said, N. Ill is coming off a road thumping of Akron and Temple is coming off a road scare at Army. Army was able to move the ball at will on Temple and N. Ill had their way with Akron. I think this will be a close game into the fourth quarter. GL if you choose to play -Giovanni
probably because temple #1 rb is injured and a freshman (who had a great game vs army over 200 yds) will start on the road, that's why the line is -3 for no illinois
Northern Illinois has covered it's last 3 games, all on the road. This is a typical line for a MAC game, where home teams tend to do well. I grabbed Temple +4 earlier, because I think they have a huge coaching advantage. AS far as this game being a "trap", it most certainly is not.
