    2007 Penn State preview

You really gotta like Penn State's chances this year. They have a pretty solid group of returning starters including 6 starters with strength in the line backing core. Now that Marelli and one hell of a receiver core coming back, so don't expect much of a let down offensively.

I do? Because I was thinking they're quite likely to lose at least four games.

I can't see Morelli leading PSU to anything more than a 4th place finish in the conference. 8-4, 9-3 at best headed into the bowl game. Derrick Williams needs to step up. Someone with his talent only having 2 career receiving TD's is a joke.

@ Michigan, @ Illinois, Wisconsin, and either one or two of the following: ND, Ohio State, and @ MSU.

I'm not sold on IL or MSU beating them Razz. Both teams clearly have some good talent this year, but always seem to have trouble winning games. As far as Wisky goes... I have to wonder if they will be as good as they were last year, because I felt they really overachieved. Of course I do agree with Michigan and OSU though.

I'll be shocked if Penn State beats Illinois. The Illini totally dominated them last year in Happy Valley, they'll get the job done easily this year in Champaign IMO.

I think you are right on here Big, PSU's season comes down to @Michigan. The rest of the schedule is very favorable, and as long as Morelli doesn't turn the ball over, they have more than enough weapons and defense to win the Big10 and challenge for a national title

I hope you are right, but sometimes after injuries like that, they never get back to where they were...

The only thing that really concerns me is Joe PA is considering coaching from the booth this year instead of the sidelines. If thats the case, then it could be a rough year for PSU.
