A sport's pop quiz for the most knowledgeable member's

Bear B. proclaimed, this player was "The greatest athlete" to ever play for him.
10 points for the first correct answer. No computers or Googling you damn cheats!
I want real men who have vast football knowledge, not young'ins like Grease.

And I would have thought he would have picked a running back? Picked #1? Means; he was quite cerebral, along with that near to perfection passing ability.

    Bear Bryant died in 1983.

    I am 38.

    Wow. Get help Abe.

Bryant called Stevenson the best player he ever coached.

Namath and Bryant had quite the relationship, I wouldn't be surprised if he said that about Namath.

Bryant said a lot of things though; he called one player the smartest, one the best at his position, etc.

But if anyone was #1 overall in Bryant's book, it was probably Broadway Joe.

See your naivety? Greatest athlete and best player does not fit what Bear claimed. Maybe he was a great dumb player?

Yep, in Namath's video bio, it was said that BB did proclaim Namath as his greatest athlete.
