lots of boring Bowls? or is it only me?

42 ph_cking bowl games on the schedule

ok, its probably good for most (not all) of the athletes
but entertainment-wise i cant get excited about nor
find any substantial intrigue in any of the 17 bowls before Dec 27.

i remember and miss the good ole days when there were just 15 or so.

i mean, to name just a few,
r any of us (who r not alumni of these schools)
really getting all ga-ga excited by:

    ucf vs ark.st ?

    s.miss vs ULL ?

    idaho vs colo.st ?

    army vs n.texas ?

E.mich vs old dominion ? really???

    come on man!!

It's fun when you're a bettor. Also good for the schools (usually), because it brings money to the program, and I'm all for that too.

Plus, if you played for the University of Idaho back when there were 15 bowls, you'd probably have nothing to play for ever. Those kids put in a lot of work too, give them a final game to look back on.

The NCAA and ESPN know that if they put any game on a weeknight, people will bet it and watch it. Most of these games would not even pass for good non-conference games on a Saturday. But when you can put a game on every night, it is paradise for ESPN and the NCAA to get the gamblers to watch.

I had just broken down and got DISH again with its little base package and all the add on options but saw the bowl lineup and removed ESPN until next football season. Not watching any of this crap. Will be betting a few though.

The Bowl Schedule ALWAYS looks horrendous, but the suckers will wager anyway. This is the time of year when the desperate try to get even, and those of you lucky enough to break even think they can win a few bucks.

Worst part is a LOT of the schools actually LOSE money.
They have to sell a mandatory amount of tickets else the school has to eat the cost.

IF its a 6-6 team playing on the other side of the country on a wednesday afternoon........yeah.

There are way too many bowls nowadays, but thanks to live betting, I doubt I'll find any of them boring once they kick off.

Live betting just gives you guys another chance to lose your money, which you do on a regular basis now.

more bowls the better, chance for middles, soft player props, weak halftime lines, what is not to like.
