    Hook 'Em Horns Today!!!!!

    Boyz,

Charlie Strong was supposedly fired, yet he'll be on the sidelines coaching today. Total lame duck and everyone should bet against him, right? Wrong! Look for the Longhorns to have their best performance of the season and absolutely annihilate TCU. Later we'll scratch our heads and wonder why Charlie didn't get 'em playing like that all along. LAY it in LARGE!!

The fact that another human lost money on Texas too makes me feel a little better.

Shane Buechele was on the take today. He looked like absolute shit. It's like everyone in burnt orange wanted the season to end so they could give Charlie the hook and get it over with. Texas' effort today was non-existent.

He isn't the qb that charlie wanted. Shame he could never recruit the big qb. he wanted. I'm hoping that he ends up at cincy

Strong meeting with the Longhorns brass tomorrow. Can't wait to hear how the coach explains that a 5 win season, at a university with so many resources, is a step in the right direction.

Under a contract that was set to run through Jan. 23, 2019, Strong will be owed a buyout of about $11.2 million that would be paid out on a monthly basis through the end of the contract term. However, Strong is obligated to make reasonable efforts to obtain other employment. If he does, Texas’ obligation to him will be offset by an amount equal to 50% of the total compensation Strong receives from his new job.

I find this interesting. I don't see Strong getting a major coaching job within the next couple of years. If he gets a job at a smaller school, he could let Texas off the hook for a lot lower money. Who the hell negotiated this contract for him?
