FSU gets elite talent....this game will be 14+ pts win by FSU. Pitt won't lay down or anything, but they just won't be able to compete with FSU talent.

Pitt lost its home opener last year to Youngstown State by 2 TDs. They followed that up by getting their buts kicked by Cinci. FSU has this.

Um Timmy Jernigan is a returning starter from that defensive line. And the way FSU rotates, all of these guys have seen meaningful action. Yes they lost 3 defensive ends, but FSU is starting 3 former defensive tackles on the line under Pruitt's new system.

DE - Eddie Goldman, former 5* defensive tackle, 6'4 313lbs
DE - Mario Edwards Jr. former 5* defensive end, 6'4 285lbs
    NT - Nile Lawrence-Stapleton, former 4* defensive tackle, 6'1 314lb
DT - Timmy Jernigan, former 4* defensive tackle, preseason acc all american 6'2 294

They are going big up front, and even have put a 265 pound former defensive end at Sam.

I'm not saying that recruiting rankings are everything, but these guys are not scrubs. They've seen action on the field.

I don't think Pitt gets more than 13 points in this one. Pitt doesn't have the talent to make up for a QB who hasn't seen shit for action for years now. Could FSU lose this game early November in Pitt? Absolutely, but not game 1 when FSU is just as hyped and ready to go knowing they won't start off slow. Fisher a great coach who won't let his team suck dikk out of the gate. I see a lot of predictions on the sites around 30-10 type game. I think they're spot on for the most part. Pitt not exactly a world beater like mentioned above in regards to losing at home to shit teams. I however don't want another Wyoming/Nebraska ending where Nebraska dominates for the game and allows end of game scores to make the score tight. FSU ML on this one for me.

Not to get off topic, but well, here I go....I wouldn't say Nebraska dominated Wyoming and then let them back in it. The final score was legit. Nebraska's biggest lead was 16. They never were fully comfortable in that game. Wyoming racked up just over 600 yards of total offense.

This is funny. Has theSpread already played the game? Is this a sign from the gambling Gods?

It shows FSU 49 PITT 10.

    .

Va tech was #13 at the time last year. Florida State also has a freshman QB starting tonight.

At home up 16 with 7 minutes to go I'd say you better feel comfortable. That being said that's exactly why I went FSU ML and not the spread, I don't want late scores to bend me over.

I like FSU. And apparently so do some sharps as evidenced by the line movement. FSU and its talent take this home. I suspect Pitt's offense will be anemic

If you took dawgs this weekend outside of the first games Saturday morning you got UNDRESSED. Clemson was really the only popular dog that covered.

I believe the Pittsburgh d will get its points from turnovers, by the freshman fsu qb.
Could be wrong but a gut feeling.
