    you have to think the best bet in this game is ALABAMA FIRST QUARTER, no???

    now I know just started the thread on Teo, but this I just dropped a Nickel on the ML after thinking things through.

    first, Notre Dame normally gets off to slow offensive starts in the first place, now you add on the the 37 day lay off, the hype of National Championship and than the Alabama defense on the other side of the ball. they very well could be shell shocked for the first half of the quarter and running on pure adrenaline and we all know how that normally goes for athletes.

    where as Bama has been here before, Saban has been saying all the right things knows how to prepare his players and put them in the right position for the layoff, where Kelly is still figuring it out and I dont really like the things Kelly has been saying "go out there dont be afraid to make mistakes" lol...dont wanna play wreck less like that against Bama.

    I still think this is going to be a close ball game but think Bama defense will shut out ND 1st quarter and should be up 3-0, or 6-0. 7-0 would be great.

    Maybe its because I live in Chicago so all I hear about is ND and how good they are - but I feel like ND is going to have the crowd edge in this game which will be even larger in the first quarter. Not sure what the line you are getting is - but if you think thats the right play are you better off taking the prop for Bama to score first?

    I would think 3rd quarter would be the best for Alabama...That NFL offensive line will wear down the ND defensive line but its going to take some time...3rd quarter I think we start to see a few Alabama TD's
