Maybe you can explain why the line didn't move even though the public was pounding LSU? Do you really think the books expected MSU was only 3 points worse than LSU? Books don't work that way. They are perfectly happy to take the juice only which is why I could understand why the line wasn't moving.
Who knows, maybe the line didn't move because "sharps" (who bet more than the average Joe) saw the public was pounding LSU and decided to bet MSU because "the public is always wrong."
And for the record, I do not claim to be a sharp. I'm nowhere near that level. Nor do I claim I could beat you in a capping contest (I generally stay away from spread bets). But next time, take the freebie that the books are giving and avoid trying to make someone who made a smarter play than you look stupid. But come to think of it. Call me stupid all you want as long as my plays keep hitting.
As my Avatar says, Smart may have the brains, but stupid has the balls.
You had the brains to talk yourself out of a good play. I had the balls to go with a play that was correct no matter what the public or the books were doing.
That said, good luck this year and kill the books.
