A number of guys say it may not be the smartest thing to do long term, but its a relatively easy way to grow the bankroll quickly..

Seems like everyone would do it then..

    Thoughts?

I tell you what. I murdered the NBA using this strategy. Mostly Two team money line parlays, but I was thinking of bringing the same strategy to College Football. Might be tougher with such bloated lines though. We'll see though

Im a fan of the parlays myself. I usually hit 2 or 3 6 teams a season. MLs and spreads. Got lucky as $#!# in 06 and hit a 10 team parlay all spreads, almost missed it by one point. Best $15 I ever spent! As the season kicks off/gets closer I will be on some ML parlays for the first few weeks until I see what all the teams can do.

I like to buy some of the lines down the first few. Putting LSU ML on your parlay is almost useless, but getting them at -24 or -27 is not bad. Since we are telling fish stories.. I actually hit a 15 team (pushed the 16th game) last year on a parlay like this. Couldn't believe it when they paid (odds were over 10,000 to 1).

I think the large heavy Moneylines are the way to go, but it might also get you banned at certain establishments if you hit a nice little consecutive streak. I have had comps reduced by 7x at the LVH in Vegas b/c of this. Jay Kornegay (director of LVH) told me if I continue to wager that way, thats how they would comp me....so I got a runner. Otherwise, it would take about $550,000 wagered to get a comp for one night with my comp status...well, guess what...I called the NGRC (Nevada Gaming Racing Commission)...and got my room paid...it's only right...dont let them (the Casinos) walk all over you if you are winning....if you are treated with malaise or unjustly....report it...and you will be rewarded with your efforts from your friends at the NGRC (kind of being a little sarcastic)...just my experience is all.

Will Vegas casinos give money lines on the heavy point spread favorites?

What is usually there cutoff? 14pts?

Anyone with firsthand experience know this answer?

Yes...much experience here...most consistent and dependable is the LVH...but inflated due to the Sports Book Directors inability to have a backbone, Southpoint not real consistent--occasionally(with much prompting), Cal-Neva...but they are now Will Hill--, Cal-Neva did Super Heavies....like -35000, -45000, -60000....I loved it....made money at every opportunity...will William Hill have what they claim this season...we will find out probably by next Tuesday afternoon for Thursday's games and by late Wednesday for Friday and Saturday's games....if they dont have them...we are in some big trouble b/c that limits our opportunites and corners a market basically at LVH and Jay Kornegay knows it (the Sports Book Director). Cantor had those ML favorites about -600 (14pts) for the first few weeks of the season, then nothing over about -1500 or so after maybe week 4 or 5, not sure to be exact....remember its a big franchise and no independent thinkers.....now if Jimmy Vaccaro who was just hired for Will Hill has the balls like he claims, they will be up there....but believe me, they all claim that they will have up "all the lines", but trust me, I painstakingly looked physically at each place and it just is not true. MGM Grand may or may not, I dont wager there...feels like Im one in the herd going to slaughter..."do you have a drink ticket sir," "Do you have a wagering ticket," "You cant sit there sir"...(me talking now)"Lady, I just laid 40,000 on the game, I can surely sit where I want.!!!"...Catch my drift....I might be leaving a couple out...like the Wynn.....they usually accept alot of money whatever you want to bet....but that doesnt mean anything if you dont have what I want...Heavy ML's. Hope that hepls for now....Ask me anything else if you are interested...love this stuff.

5 dimes will let u do any moneylines, the spreads are not as tight early so why would you do this? seems like more value to just attack the bad numbers 1 by 1

By attacking the bad numbers 1 by 1 you mean what?
