    More importantly how are TCU?
    Who is the new QB?
Are they still very fast on offense?
Have they replaced Jermey Kerley?...he was pretty important piece of their passing game.

A lot of action has found it's way to Baylor. Tough game to pick. Baylor is a 6-6 type team from the big 12-2-1. TCU is suppose to be one of the best non-BCS teams around.

Baylor has an awesome athlete in Robert Griffin at QB. Their problem is he's not surrounded by a lot of other great athletes, which is a big reason they lost their last 5 games in a row to end last year, including a 38-14 loss to a very average Illinois program in the Texas Bowl.

TCU lost a ton of talent from last years Rose Bowl winning team, including QB Andy Dalton and several others to the NFL. The Frogs have a Sophomore QB making his first start tonight. They also have a revamped offensive line protecting him. But the reality is that TCU is a major power in NCAA football now. They recruit tons of top athletes from around Texas and beyond. They're returning all their big play wideouts, plus the core of their defense from last years undefeated team.

The line dropped to 3.5 on this solely due to the unknowns, mostly with Pachall taking over at QB. Regardless, I think TCU wins this pretty easily. They simply have too many weapons at too many different positions.

    TCU 28-14.

As I wrote in a previous thread. Baylors weakness is their secondary. But TCU's QB is starting his first game, on the road, on national telivision, etc. He could get overwhelmed with the situation.

TCU best asset is there defense. Their linebackers, Tanner Brock and Tank Carder, are beasts!

TCU's coach is very good though. I think TCU wins in a slow paced, low scoring game.

Griffin is the best player on the field.

    TCU has the better team/coach.

It humors me when people say that TCU "plays nobody". Thats such an ignorant argument its laughable. Anyone who doesn't recognize that TCU is a top 5 program over the past 5 years or so simply doesn't watch much college football.

TCU returns just 2 starters on offense and has a QB making his first start.

Who would've beaten TCU last year? Wisconsin was the hottest team in the country when they lost to TCU in the Rose Bowl. You honestly think Auburn or Oregon would've stomped them? Its not TCU's fault who's in their conference. Look at the athletes they have at each position. I might back off to Top 10, but nothing less. I'm not some TCU homer. I went to Texas. But the truth is these kids kick ass. Period.

Wisconsin had a month long layoff, had TCU played them a month earlier they would have lost. When your a run team like Wisconsin it's not shocking that a team that has a month to prepare for you can beat you. And when it comes to their schedule, yes you have to say something, because the opponents that they were playing were absolutely ridiculous. The fact is they have had good teams, but do I think that they could of gone undefeated as they have in a BCS conference? Hell no.

Coming from another DFW resident........TCU is a fantastic team that gets very little love locally. TCU is a great school with a great football program and I think it's a shame that they happen to be located right in the middle of Cowboys Country. I heard a stat the other day that TCU is the only team in the top 25 WITHOUT a player with a police record. Isn't that amazing?? I feel that they handle Baylor very easily.....I'm guessing they win by 10-14 points. Take that one to the bank boys!!

TCU is not the same team they have been in the past and still have plenty of unanswered questions. The public is still high on them because of the past success and assuming that the Horned Frogs are the same team from a year ago, is a mistake.
Baylor is at home against a rival and looking for revenge. The Bear’s offense is high powered and ready to put up points and will give TCU problems on Friday night. Baylor starts the year off with a big win over TCU.

    Baylor +4

anyone remember texas last year ranked top 10 preseason lost a 4 yr starting qb had all the talent in the world and went what 5-7? TCU does have some talent of course but they have no experience playing in their opening game on the ROAD let me say that again THE ROAD it wont be easy. Theres no way baylor lays an egg here, they started off hot last year return 15 starters give me the points all day

    Lmao. Such an ignorant post.

TCU shut down Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and won. They also beat the shit out of this Baylor team last year 45-10. I'm sorry but no way in he'll Baylor scores even close to 50 let alone 70.

Saying TCU and Boise never beat anyone is just ignorant.

This is a completely different TCU team but your assessments of previous TCU and Boise teams could not be further from the truth.

Boise has beaten Va. Tech, Oklahoma, Oregon twice, and won two Fiesta Bowls. I guess beating the ACC, Big 12, and PAC-10 champions = beating no one by your logic..,,.,

    Wtf are you talking about??
