Given the system and the likelihood of playing in the national title game, Landry Jones at +600 seems reasonable. His stats will be much better than Andrew Luck and he will be on the better team to boot. If one believes that south carolina will make it to the SEC title game, then Lattimore is a decent option.

Trent Richardson seems like good value to me. He's the star of that offense and will put up good numbers as the featured back

Denard has a bit too good of odds with that new system.

If Oklahoma has a big year...

Landry Jones (+600) and Ryan Broyles (+1200) might have a shot.

Andrew Luck will be the front runner but who knows....anyone have Cam Newton winning last year?

I personally like Landry more than Luck in this race.

Dan, you and I may be the only guys on the forum who go against Luck. I don't think he has the horses at Stanford to win this year.

The Oregon kid and the Alabama hammer would be my picks.

Do people actually think Stanford will have the same success they had the previous two years? I have a hard time seeing Luck win it. I think he will put up good numbers, but I don't see Stanford winning enough for him to win the Heisman

Being an Alabama 'HOMER" I would love to see Richardson win the Heisman. Keep in mind that during Alabama's entire football history... we have had only one Heisman winner.

Oklahoma will probably open the season as No. 1. If the Sooners have a big year and QB Landry Jones puts up numbers like he did last year. He will have a hell of a shot. Last season he completed 405 of 617 for 4718 yards and 38 touchdowns. That's strong in anyone's book.

Hey guys what's the final verdict on Taylor Martinez? Is he not playing or starting this season or something? I remember he had some problems last season with coach but still...he was a heisman favorite at one point.

    IMO---Safest bets gotta be:
    Luck (fan favorite, padded stats)
James (I don't think hes the best, but he'll have great stats. Just needs to stop the constantly reoccurring pattern of Oregon rb's punching people in the face that he continued last season...)

Richardson not a bad pick...pretty safe considering alabama will ALWAYS be good, ALWAYS have a huge fanbase/sec backing

Dyer would be my sleeper pick, Auburn's RB depth is very low this year. McCalleb will run outside, Morgon will help out, but Dyer will get a lot of work. Line is young, but Dyer is patient and wont be phased by that. Only thing is, they just picked up Mike Blakely from Florida. At this point he's ineligable for this year, but if thier appeal works and Blakely is eligible, Auburn adds another big all-around speed threat and Dyer loses another5-7 carries a game.
