This ever happen to anyone playing at a live dealer???

So for the first time in my degenerate life I find my way to the live dealer section of my online book. Playing some blackjack when I get an 11. My intention is to double down, but I have to wait for the first player to complete his hand before I can make a selection. I end up getting distracted and selecting stand instead of hit, then close my browser window on my phone. I reopen it to find the dealer gave me a 4, but my hand still reads as 11. I end up losing either way as the dealer doesn't bust, but I definitely did not select hit and the dealer still gave me a card, but my hand value remained at 11. I've heard if live dealer tables being fishy, so is this type of stuff typical?

I've been ripped off playing baccarat. This week Betonline has screwed me out of at least 3 units won. I don't doubt what you are saying.

It depends 7deuce. If you were playing the live dealer early payout BJ, which more sportsbooks have, they have to hit according to basic strategy whether you ask for a card or not. Not sure if that answers your question. I play early payout all the time and think it's the way to go.

Thank you for the response. It was early payout. Didn't know that was part of the game.
