As far as the rigged thing, i believe it. But not because of the cold streak thing, but the predictability of when they turn it on. In a live casino, I have had streaks where the dealer killed me and the table almost every hand before the reshuffle.
On sportsbook.com, I won a 1000 bucks plus on BJ betting usually 2 bucks a time, and going as high as 25 or 50. I thought, "woah this is easy". One late night, I was bored and broke my rule of going on extended Blackjack benders. Damn, the casino ****** me good with an incredibly long cold streak. I didnt even resort to a pure Martingdale system. I stayed firm to the min bet for 10 hands in a row and still lost every single one. Then I doubled it (but stayed at that first doubled amount) for another 10 hands and lost almost every single one of them with incredible dealer cards. And I can't remember clearly as it was late at night(the casino's favorite time for you to play even when they are not rigged) , but I must have gone stupid Martingdale at some point after the 20 hands. Went to zero real fast. Never bothered to redeposit on sportsbook.com after that. And stayed away from online gambling of any kind for two years because it just left a real bad taste in my mouth.
So I have been on bovada for a year and I have read here all the horror stories about any online blackjack and bvovada being as bad as any of the others. So out of curiosity, i have been betting small again and cashing out my winnings from the casino to the regular sportsbook on the site after each session. I won a 100 bucks in a couple of days the slow easy way. THen I decided to try a practice session and was betting bigger with the knowledge that I won't lose anything. Then I click on the play for real, but stayed away from betting big. Even with that conservative tiny $1 a hand betting with occasional 2 and $3 bets, I lost my 30 bucks real fast. I closed out and went to practice and won again real big but this time betting the same way I would with real money After winning a bunch of hands, I turned up the bets and nothing got affected, I was still winning . THen I went to real again. Won 20 bucks the slow way, then noticed the casino hands being incredibly lucky again for the dealer as I increased the hand, got the message and cashed out by transferring everything back to the general account balance again. Did another round of back to back practice and real. Same ******* disparity. The disparity between back to back six practice sessions and real sessions was just too much to ignore. My advice to people who know it is rigged, but have that addictive personality to ignore the common sense in your head is to just alternate the practice session with the real session. Each time I do that, it is like a slap in the face and someone then threw mud at your face to add insult to injury.
Online Blackjack is admittedly damn addictive. The convenience of it is so good that late night impulsive playing can lead to pretty good profits for the company even if they do not rig it.
