I don't think being considered the "Best" should allow the people that you are fighting to do what ever they want to you. Where do you stop? Should they also be allowed to gouge your eyes, bite, and kick you in the jimmy??

go back to the original rules of only no orifice gouging, fish hooking, or biting. i would also add the pride fighting rule against stalling. if this is suppose to be close to a real fight then ppl should be pulling hair and kneeing ppl in the groin like royce gracie.

nah, gracie just pulled ppl on top of him and still dominated when there were no rules against the stuff you want. there werent even weight classes and he was smallish.

I didn't say pull people on top, there's a big difference. Falling to ur back against a standing opponent when you could get stomped or kicked would get 99.99% of fighters killed. I agree Gracie was probably that .01%

i havent watched mma since pride fighting got cancelled. ufc was already boring with just a bunch of stalling wrestlers and now ppl just fall on their backs? i dont even see the purpose of this besides stalling.

You used to not be able to the kick on knee an opponent in the head if they had one hand on the mat, now they must have both hands touching. People use to exploit it.

Better JUDGING for fights that go the distance is what is needed. PrideFC scoring was a much more accurate system.

Soccer kicking people in the head while they are down would probably never fly in the US and the UFC would never be where it is today if that was allowed. As for groin shots, I don't think these guys are paid enough money to risk losing their ability to ever have children.

Cuz people in street fights will emulate it.

Then the UFC and Dana White will be blamed for injuries / fatalities which result in drunk people soccer kicking each other in the head outside of bars.

Watch Tony Ferguson's fight with Kevin Lee.

Ferguson does a good job of keeping Kevin Lee's head down near his belly button which gives him position to drop big elbows from the bottom.

Carlos Condit did it 1st against GSP but Ferguson did it better.

Its the type of skill Conor needed for his fight with Khabib.
