UFC won't risk McGregor losing is my guess, they will wait to reschedule with Aldo again.. Forget it guys it's over too much money at risk... Scratch McGregor off this card...

This is a super fight with Aldo and they could get it going again in 3-6 months..

I don't necessarily agree with McGregor being off 189 completely, though it is certainly a possibility and I'm sure Dana is exploring all options. A quick decision needs to be made in order to prepare McGregor's opponent shall he remain on the card. Can't go wrong with Mendes or Edgar. I'd give slight lean to Mendes since he put in short work against Lamas and should be the more rested fighter.

If Aldo miraculously is still given the green light, I can see the odds reversing to McGregor -150/-175 range and the UFC will just have to pay Aldo a "win" bonus and some for compensation taking the fight while injured. Crazy as it may sound but they don't give a fukk as long as they are pocketing their wallets.

Cowboy is a weight class above at 155... Don't think he could drop to 145 and I doubt Conrad would fight a weight class above his norm right now.. Not happening.. Would be a good fight to check at a catch weight for sure though..

frankie or mendes would make the most sense though i'm pretty sure the ufc will just wait for aldo to heal.

Conor already said after he beats Aldo that he was going to beat Dos Anjos for his lightweight belt. These smaller guys are constantly moving up and down. Let's see Conor back up all of the shit that he's been talking. I am sure Cerrone will take the fight.

conor vs cerrone would be a fun fight. not sure about vs dos anjos though since i don't know how good conor's takedown defense is.

Joe Duffy would be an epic rematch - and a rude awakening for McGregor. Duffy should be fed similar opponents McGregor ran through and I'm sure they'll meet down the line with or without the belt.

Joe Duffy would sub Mcgregor again, no way they make that fight.

They have spend too much money promoting this fight, it will get postponed.

I don't think Faber has a chance and knowing he wouldn't be next in line put his name out there for some publicity / credibility.

Would be extremely disappointed if another Dennis gets the nod.

Nate Diaz said he'll fight Conor at 155. This may actually be Conor's best choice instead of Frankie, Chad, or even Joe Duffy.

Diaz a couple years ago, maybe. He will be another victim....or play spoiler when everyone counts him out. If the Diaz that smashed Cerrone comes to fight then it'll be interesting.

Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor at 155 could be Plan B for UFC if Aldo fight is scrapped

1.) Featherweight fight vs. Frankie Edgar or Chad Mendes.
2.) Lightweight fight vs. Nate Diaz

Obviously Edgar and Mendes are absolutely interested in stepping up on short notice with the chance of snatching away McGregor's title shot, but the Diaz option is something both McGregor's camp and Nate himself are interested in, per Helwani's report.

If the UFC is interested in protecting Aldo vs. McGregor at all costs, then McGregor probably won't face either Edgar or Mendes but instead do the one-off at 155 lbs against a beatable opponent who fans are familiar with. While Diaz is 1-3 in his last 4 (and missed weight in his loss to Rafael dos Anjos), it's a fun bout that in no way should disqualify McGregor from fighting Aldo even if he loses. It'd certainly placate Irish fans who shelled out oodles of cash to travel to Vegas to see their countryman do battle against the champion.

Of course, that's just me being very speculative. Aldo vs. McGregor is currently on for July 11th, and we'll surely know by the end of this week if it will remain that way.

Aldo isn't going to fight. He's going to piss Dana off and let McGregor jump through another loop with a possibility of losing before facing him. Think about it, if McGregor gets "upset" say by Diaz, McGregor will tumble down the rankings and Aldo will clown him non-stop and say he's not deserving blah blah blah.
