Both Cruz and Mizugaki have gone to decision in 8 of their last 10 fights. When they didn't, both of them had the same opponent. Bowles, a guy who never goes to decision... and Faber, who caught them both in a choke. These guys are decision machines.
And while I think Cruz is the better fighter, he really needs a win here. Elusive footwork + needing to win might = a super conservative gameplan. I don't think he's going to try to come out guns blazing... he wants the title shot.
Might be worth adding to a couple parlays or something if you like the pick.
Yeah I like Cruz decision too, just tough to say how he'll look after nearly 3 years off. Mizugaki is no scrub... but if Cruz is actually at 100% he might make him look like one. BOL
