Okay boys the reason i posted this is because my buddies kid is making his pro debut. I haven't talked about him in awhile cause he hurt his knee but he is back to 100 percent. KIds JU jitz is 1st class. Hands i have never saw but hitting the mits and they look nice and straight. His father say's his hands are great. His wrestling maybe his weakest skill set but it still is good when u throw in his sub skills. Get a glimpse of a future star. He was a division one wrestler for a year or two as a walk on. Root for the boy for ur pal Thor. Third fight from the bottom. Should be a link for the fights so ya can go back and forth with the UFC. I think it is a better than the ufc card if JJones gets hurt before Saturday.

Complete domination. Fighter of the night. Sub in first round. This kid will be in the UFC someday if Bellator doesn't suck him up. Highlight of the night was two guys fighting in the cage. Girl about three rows up from me is screaming for her boyfriend the one fighter. About three rows down the other fighters girlfriend had about a enuf. Her guy was easily picking the other guy apart (the girl screaming). She gets up and screams to the girl to shut the fuk up or she is gonna come up the steps and kick her ass like the whopping her boyfriend was getting. LMFAO.

btw Marzo is right the hype on Davis was almost as bad as the hype on Travis Brown. Some of the shit u guys make up is comical. The striking prowess of Brown lol. When the fuk did we ever see this? The unbelievable wrestling with Davis? When have we seen this when he fights a guy with just a little clue about wrestling? I knew Rumble would ruin him my problem was with him gassing. Why i passed. Should have realize maybe a three rounder his tank would hold up but i didn't. Davis wrestling credential and him just don't match up. Rashad rag dolled him. He look like a fool against Nogeria but the worst was his gift decision against Machida everyone bought as if he really won lol.

THOR4140 you were at the show huh? Pat Sabatini looked great. He had a lengthy but very successful Ammy career and he looked impressive last night. I work for CFFC - little side gig but it's fun. I wish I knew you were going to be there. Yeah I can see this kid getting to the big show some day. I hear he looks better than a lot of the pros that train at Renzo Gracie Philly (Daniel Gracie's Gym.)

Makashvilli is another dangerous guy. He's 8-0 now and is the new CFFC Featherweight champ. The kid has dangerous hands and has a strong wrestling background although he doesn't like to use it much.

Horcher was was almost going to fill in against Jimmy Miller last night but they already found an opponent.

They don't make much especially as a young pro but their show and win money usually the same. For example $500 to show & $500 to win. Plus they get 20% of ticket sales. Some guys can make a few grand selling tickets alone but it's not very common.

I kinda scouted this Makashvilli kid to tell his father what i thought. I was very impressed with the kid. I told his dad that i would pay payper view rates for this fight to happen and it is gonna eventually i believe. Danny Gracie was in Pats corner. You guys put on a good show last night. That freakin music was so loud my head was about to pop. Monitors are great because it is tough to watch the fights with the thick padding on the post. They need to somehow make this padding a little narrower. I told Patrick i found a flaw in his game. His MIc skills were only a bit above average. He said he was nervous as shit when he had to do that. Do u believe he wasn't even nervous for his first pro fight? I arrived at the hotel about 230. I called his dad and ask were his son is. His dad said he was nervous, but his son was laying in the bedroom like he was on the beach in the Bahamas.

i decided not to ask him. 500 500 is exactly what i thought they might get. Wow 20 percent of the ticket sales. I didn't know this. I know they sold the tickets they were given. Believe around a 100 but i might be wrong.

They won't put up any links because there are still PPV's that get bought after the show BUT the event will be on Comcast (as are all CFFC shows) probably next Monday or Tuesday. They will show approximately 5 fights but Pat's fight may make TV because it was fast. Plus they want to get him exposure.

I do the commentary for CFFC and the in cage interviews. My in cage interviews were the worst in about 2 years. I was off big time. With that said... It's much harder to interview these guys because there isn't much stuff on them and we don't refer to the big screen for finishes. Interviewing UFC fighters would be so much easier. Those so much more material.

I don't know what Pat received for pay. I was just using that as an example. He may have been paid more than 500 & 500. 500 & 500 is usually the minimum. If he sold around 100 tickets he made at least another $1,200 bucks and that's if he just sold the cheapest tickets which are $55/each.

Before I started with CFFC over 3 years ago I had no idea how regional shows did business. I learned quickly that most of ticket sales come from the fighters because not many people walk off the street to watch a regional show. Heck WSOF loses money hand over fist because they don't have local guys fighting on their cards and most mma fans won't go to a show unless it's a UFC event.

At at the regional level if you are a good fighter, an exciting fighter, and you can sell tickets, you will get fights. We try to have fighters that are fairly local. Bringing guys in from across the country doesn't help the promotion much.

There were a lot of empty seats in the beginning of the show but they are empty seats at the beginning of a UFC show also. I thought the crowd started filling out nicely but i was wondering why the Borgata doesn't comp out tickets to get more people there. I know one thing the room was 500 a night and they won't even throw in free internet. First hotel i ever stayed at that didn't have free WiFi. I see ur points about bringing in outside fighters. Have to be a really tough sell. The show was very professional. Looked like a UFC event.

LOL. I'm only 6'1" but I have shoes on and some of these guys are small and they are barefoot so I do appear taller than I really am.

Thank for the compliment. I felt like my interviews were really off that night as a whole.

That show was probably the worst show we ever had at The Borgata as far as ticket sales. Some of the fighters promised X amount of ticket sales and they did not deliver. We usually have between 1500 & 2000 people in the stands at any given time. Some fans jut come to watch "their guy" and then they leave.

The Borgata does comp out tix but the high rollers still don't go. The Borgata charges a lot for their rooms. We get free rooms as staff but we usually have to double up.

Thank for the compliment on the show. Mike Constantino (AMA FIGHT CLUB) is our new President. His clout is helping us grow even more now.

Yeah 500 & 500 is usually bare minimum. Plus all fighter get 2 o ticket sales. In PA we have some ammy fights on he undercard of the pro card. They can't get paid show & win money but they also get percentage of ticket sales.

From what I gather ROC (Ring of Combat) - a regional show in Atlantic City only pays a percentage of ticket sales - no ho & win money so if you can't sell tickets you probably won't fight for them.
