Sources close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com the bouts include lightweights Ramsey Nijem vs. Anthony Njokuani and featherweights Junior Assuncao vs. Ross Pearson.

I like Hendricks here but wanted him in the plus 250 range. I think these odds are about right so hopefully money comes in hard one way or the other.

I'd be pretty surprised if that happened. Money would come out of the woodwork to drive the Fitch price back down. I think it's more likely that the Fitch line gets worse rather than better.

+220 isn't a horrible price on hendricks.
i got 2.2 units on fitch at -220 and i'm happy about it.

he has been taken down in every UFC fight IIRC (havent seen the Pierce fight)
I guess it is not bad odds if you are hoping on a KO or thinking he can get a split decision.
Penn was only able to take Fitch down because of the element of suprise. Idoubt Vegan Fitch makes the same mistake and not training wrestling defense.
I'm with you on questioning the Hendricks fans. I think the train is about to go off the rails.
The Pierce fight was VERY, VERY close. It was more of a striking match.
I just think Fitch does his thing. My only concern is with his Skyrim addiction.

Damn, I was hoping the Hendricks hype would be bigger.
I'm utterly amazed by how one of the most successful collegiate wrestlers this country has ever produced translates so little of his takedown defense to MMA yet ends up one of the sport's greatest boxers.
If ive learned anyting lately... its dont bet against Cerrone.
Diaz is an entirely different animal than the bums that Cerrone has been fighting. I like Cowboy but Diaz has value here.
ha I wouldnt say Siver and Oliveira are bums! But I certainly wont be playing Cerrone straight up at these odds.
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but both are highly one dimensional and very finishable fighters, not good attributes against Cowboy

I've been beating the books all year, and this was my biggest night ever.
That's an assumption based on the amount of people on the forums that seemed to have backed guys like Attonito, Hominck and Hamman. I could be wrong though.
Rumours of OVereem failing drugs test...always thought this fight wouldnt happen! For me personally I'd prefer Mir vs Lesnar 3 anyway!...

Overeem was asked to take a test in mid-November. He took the test a week late. That was a blood test and not an actual steroid test. Blood test did not show any abnormalities. He finally took the correct urine test on Dec 7th. The results for that test are not in yet.
