I have a theory on the line of demarcation for:
*Those who understand crypto VS those who don't understand crypto.

I think hard line is +/- 55 years old.

PSchiff is 58 yrs old, so he's just over the line. Maher is 65. Prof Hanke has to be about 70.

Goes on and on. The longer you've seen Fiat, the more u get used to it. I mentioned the list of Bitcoin videos that are most educational.

Pampliano, Breedlove, Ammous etc. All well under age 55. Only pro-BtC name over 55 might be Max Keiser.

Maher is mocking Bitcoin. But the USD is the real ponzi.

Ya man, Maher really doesn't have a clue most of the time. I would say 10% of what he says it accurate (excluding the jokes of course).

Unless you are a top tier client at a bank, transferring $ is slow and expensive for the average Joe Blow. Bitcoin filled a hole.

I used to be a bookie. I would get wire transfers for $500, 5K, 50K from a bank and it took 2 to 5 days sometimes. The online e-checks and checking payment solutions, like Fire Pay and others, were riddled with fraud, low limits and the US told them to f off after 2006.

It will be interesting to see where Bitcoin will be in the future. Will the powerful governments put so many restrictions that it will cease to exist? Or will its popularity be too much for them to stop it?

They can't stop it, nor the way the technology is going to nibble away at their power.

Biden says he is going to introduce capital gains tax changes to hit crypto... and within a week crypto community repsonds with proposed DeFi applications to allow bitcoin to be changed into a pegged coin and US$ borrowed against it, to circumvent the old school idea that elites of the finance industry can make unfair rules to control things.

There is no stopping this now, And it will change the world more, and in more ways, than the internet did.

ya I agree with you but that doesn't mean they won't try. Maybe its mostly for show? You know, to discourage more people from getting into it? Is it impossible that the all cryptos go bye bye? Probably not. But impossible?

I think that departments like the CIA might be one of Bitcoin's biggest users.

Thanks again to the ETH advocates. What a power-house.

BTC/ETH ratio is now under 20:1. It's like ETH moves up from the previous ATH almost every day.

Bitcoin was 10:1 with Bitcoin Cash for the longest time I remember.

I think it's more just that old school types find it tough to "get" still.

But also, anyone that benefits from the current power/money systems probably just does not like the idea of the change as well.

Shocked he came out so strong here. Basically calling us fools.

    Ok thanks for your input.

Agree with what you said. Some older people don’t like change or something different.

Do you realize how much inflation would be. If bitcoin hit a million there would be too much money avail prices would quadruple.

Peter Schiff isn't dumb. Peter Schiff owns banks and makes living selling gold. Why would he shill cryptos?

I'm sure the guy has been stacking cryptos for many years now in secret

    Who?

I'm sure you're right. Just that his show has become a comedy, a broken record. How many times can he bash Bitcoin and beg for Gold sales?

So, he's a Financial Advisor. 2% annual fees, returns that are flat as a pancake, blowing opportunity cost that won't come around again. That should sum up the financial advisor segment.

Maher making a point with a Bill Gates quote? lol, there's some credibility for ya.....

He's right, though. He doesn't get it.

As someone mentioned above, some don't like seeing this exodus into crypto....

The "old man yelling at the clouds" gif pretty much sums up Bill at this point in his career.

He pretty much hates everything associated with millenials and gen-z, so its no surprise he despises crypto too.

FML so I’m gonna have sell a healthy portion of my Btc for multiple tests & MRI for my MS scan & for the spinal surgery for my DDD. My insurance is not covering majority of these two prosedures. Looks like I’ll be out of the game for now fellas. I won’t need to check in anymore. The rest of my crypto will probably go to living expenses & sports betting fund. Beatthejerk signing off keep making that money fellas.
