Unless you are a top tier client at a bank, transferring $ is slow and expensive for the average Joe Blow. Bitcoin filled a hole.

I used to be a bookie. I would get wire transfers for $500, 5K, 50K from a bank and it took 2 to 5 days sometimes. The online e-checks and checking payment solutions, like Fire Pay and others, were riddled with fraud, low limits and the US told them to f off after 2006.

It will be interesting to see where Bitcoin will be in the future. Will the powerful governments put so many restrictions that it will cease to exist? Or will its popularity be too much for them to stop it?

FML so I’m gonna have sell a healthy portion of my Btc for multiple tests & MRI for my MS scan & for the spinal surgery for my DDD. My insurance is not covering majority of these two prosedures.
