Thursday at 4 eastern all Nitrogen Survivor pools will be reset. All entrants get a bye for the first round.

This sucks for those of us that picked correctly in week 1, but it's necessary after the debacle of last week. Entrants were able to change their picks into the 4th quarter of certain games, and entrants who never picked any team advanced.

New people can buy in, but I would advise against it. You can't see what anyone has picked, so the possibility of house/empolyee cheating is unfortunately real.

I'm not sure if they can even tell who did that. At the very least, the people that lost Week 1, should be eliminated.

I agree. I suspect the reason they didn't do it this way is because they didn't track that data. At least, I hope so. Otherwise, they are screwing people who won legitimately.

The only competitor left picked Detroit in Week 1 but he’s still in the competition due to a site error. Every one got a mulligan week one which was the wrong call. Everyone had an opportunity to change their pick to any team they wanted - so that entry which picked TB could have switched to Houston, Jets, Detroit, etc. I definitely sympathize with anyone who didn't see that message in time, however.

As for nitrogen deciding to handle it this way, they may have had no choice if their system did not record which accounts had updated their pics after games began. In that case, I'm not sure if there is more equitable approach outside of just cancelling the pool altogether.

Well the rules state 7 days after the contest ends. But is that now? Or when the whole season ends, or all survivor contests win? Who knows.

I don't really care, as long as I get the money from the chop (about $630) then that's all that matters.

Yeah, I won a nitro survivor pool last year before the end of the season. I believe I had to wait until the end of the season to get paid out, as that's when they assessed all of the pools together. It was a good thing for me though because bitcoin price exploded throughout the NFL season last year.

This is typical of Nitrogen. You win and take 5-6 more weeks to award the prize. That’s just bad. In your case, it worked out good but it just as easily could have worked against you. Either way they don’t care about their player base. Players feel irrelevant.

Even without the price hike, I honestly didn't really care. When I won early, I knew that I might get the prize immediately or I might have to wait until season end. Bitcoin price going up/down is basically 50/50.

I find that it's best to just practice patience in this industry. The added stress of getting pissed off all the time over small grievances and time wasted complaining just aren't worth it. At the end of the day I got paid, which is what matters.

Exactly, I has 2 entries in the $80 one, If I would have known you can't see players picks till AFTER Monday night kickoff I would have never entered, I asked them wth is this? I said who does a survivor pool and players can't see who others picked, Mind blowing, Very good chance they re cheating, otherwise why wouldn't you show them??? Won't be getting in next year that's for sure.

This isn't exactly uncommon. In any case, everyone in the pool is playing by the same rules, so I'm not sure what the issue is. You just have to adjust your strategy. Leaving it open creates a perverse incentive for everyone to wait until the last moment to get their final picks in.

The issue is it can be EASILY manipulated by having house entries, which I'm almost certain they do, what's stopping them? Nothing. You think they care about they gambler, lol, Hey will take in 500k or so in entry fees ALL in BTC and make house entries and swindle you out of the top ones, who's stopping an bitcoin only sportsbooks that's offshore in 2021? And the winner is 4658382902049 lol. The biggest survivor pool they did cost $6,000! And there were 20 entries that's 120k just in that survivor pool alone! You think they care about being fair, hence the reason you can't se entries till after Monday night football kickoff, Ray Charles can spot the fraud going on here.

We have examples of at least a couple people in this thread who have won nitro survivor pools, and this is a fairly small community with an even smaller subset who have set eyes on this thread in the last 24 hours. I know other players outside of SBR who have won nitro survivor pools as well. On top of this, the have a bunch of free survivor pools, which would be kind of weird if all they were interested in was taking peoples' money. I suppose it's possible that they are stealing just a fraction of the pools using house entries, as you suggest, but I don't buy it.

If you select a 1pm game, your entry is shown after kickoff. I'm not sure why you believe it's shown after MNF. If you pick a 1pm team, your pick is shown right when that game kicks off.

It's not worth it for Nitrogen to ruin their reputation on a survivor pool. It's easy to cheat in raffles but not a survivor pool.

Impossible to cheat. Especially near the end, everyone is checking to see what other players have in the pool right after kickoff.

Your post is not inconsistent with what he said. Your taking a screenshot is exactly WHY it's impossible for them to cheat.

When I was in the tournament other picks were not available till after Monday night kickoff, so someone who bet a 1pm game on Sunday you wouldn't be able to see who they picked till Monday night football, that's the rules, trust me I already spoke with them why this is how they chose to do it. Otherwise I would have never have bought entries into the pool, Also they wouldn't need 5 house accounts if they were cheating 1 is all they would need. I was out week 6 and this was still the case.

I just went on now and now in there rules it says this: "For full transparency, all picks will also be revealed at the the start of each game!" So other people were obviously bitching to so they changed it mid tournament, cause I assure you i no for a fact it wasn't like this when I still had my entries because I talked to support asking why aren't other players picks aren't showed after the game started.

So since they changed there rules mid tournament disregard the cheating then because this makes it fair now, waiting till Monday Night games to show others picks were not.

I was just paid for the survivor I was in and tied 3 ways. 10 mbtc roughly ($590) for a free prizepool with just 50 entries is pretty legit.
