I've been collecting trading cards & rare collectibles since I was a kid.

But this is one thing that doesn't interest me and I'm baffled by the amount of money ppl are paying for these sports highlight clips.

What I'm still confused about is it only clips you have never seen anywhere before and never will?

That is highly unlikely since virtually every sports game is recorded.

Therefore, why would you pay for a clip, that you or anyone else has access to see/watch anytime you want online???

It had to be, they aren't licensed by the team or league, but rather the individual player, so it's always training footage or pix w no logos or wrong jersey, etc

    Useless then wouldn't you think?

I want a highlight of a special moment in a game.

    An outstanding play.

That has been edited & eliminated from all recordings except a few copies for this alone.

Kind of like the random jersey cards you get in sports card packs.
