    Bitpay old addresses

I have had a pending 5d cashout for a few days that I forgot to save the address for. Pain they make you email it to them every time.

Anyways where do you find old addresses in the bitpay app? Ever since it updated a few months ago I cant find them.

    Gracias.

Login and check the 5D cashier page. If I remember correctly it shows the BTC address for your pending payout.

I would not be sending money directly between BitPay and sportsbooks if I were you. That's a great way to lose your BitPay account. Look into using a middleman wallet.

You're talking about the wallet right? You didn't initiate a load on a bitpay debit card and give that address to 5D?

Oh, I've never used their wallet. I assumed it wasn't a true wallet where the user controlled the keys but more of a BitPay controlled wallet. If the former, I guess it may be okay. Not sure how I feel about that though. Personally, I'd still prefer using an external wallet - can't hurt.

The app's wallet is a true wallet, you control the keys (it gives you a 12 word seed as backup). It's just the software makes it easy to facilitate transferring bitcoin from your wallet to their card. I don't know how long I would keep bitcoin on it as a method of storage, but when I was just loading money on the card, it's a perfect intermediary from the book to your bitpay card since it gives you the option to "send max" bitcoin rather than figure out a dollar amount and risk doing too much or leaving dust. It did the math to figure out the fee and the exact dollar amount to leave you with $0.
