Help "confirming" deposit / Nitrogen frustration....

Will try to keep this as short and as simple as possible.
Dec. 11, I made an extremely low deposit at nitrogen. Just trying to still feel my way around this whole bitcoin thing, and I wanted to see how fast things were moving these days, etc. The bitcoin transaction (from my Blockchain wallet) never confirmed (and still hasn't). On Dec. 18, I sent another deposit to Nitrogen, this time a tad larger in size. That transaction was confirmed on Dec. 24. With the CONFIRMED money, I have been wagering, and have money in my account from the winnings. However, when I tried to make a withdrawal from Nitrogen, they are not allowing me to do so because I still have an unconfirmed transaction in their system.

1- The money which I have wager with and won was ALL from a CONFIRMED transaction. In fact, Nitrogen will not allow you to wager with money from unconfirmed transactions, so I couldn't have accessed that money if I tried. Still, Nitrogen is not allowing me to withdrawal money which I fairly won from a CONFIRMED transaction.

2- Is there any way whatsoever that I can either cancel a bitcoin transaction, or better yet help speed up the "confirmation" process? It's been over two weeks, so I am guessing it is never going to go through the process at this point.

Any help / suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I had same issue few weeks back due to network congestion...It is there policy not much you can do but beg CS. They used to do that because they would allow wagers with unconfirmed BTC... Now everything needs at least 1 conformation. I don't fully understand why they do that as they do not release the funds for wagering that are not confirmed so they cant lose that money and if the funds you sent them drop out of mem pool whats the difference...But it is a rule so your stuck...

post the trans and I can help try getting into a accelerator

Having the same issue. My deposit was from the 17th. Still not confirmed and my fee was a reasonable size at the time. $19 fee on $450 sent.

I've put into an accelerator and still no confirms after 48 hours. I'm hoping the transactions gets returned or confirmed soon. Really frustrating.

wow....look into the inputs and see if any of those are not confirmed. With your fee being that high it should of confirmed unless something else tied to it is unconfirmed and holding up.

Yeah Idk too much about inputs or any of that. Here is the transaction. It was only 92 sat/b but at the time of sending that was a $19 fee.

so actually the fee is very low per SAT...your transaction size is HUGE 1257 (average is 226 or so) that's why you are not getting confirmed....I get that size when I send near my whole wallet balance and the "dust" gets included...The dust is like loose change and very heavy so it weighs down the transaction making it much more costly too send...Kinda like the us mail would cost you less and faster to send $100 as a $100 bill in envelope instead of ALL pennies in a box that weigh a lot more.......the inputs are listed here easy to access

So should I expect/hope that it gets returned to me? How does that even work? I almost always send priority but in this case I didnt because priority was something like $70 at the time. The network was over 200k of unconfirmed transactions at that point.

Maybe @optional can weigh in too...I just tried few times ViaBTC but Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later. They do have paid service you can try and see what the fee is..last time I looked for one it was over $100 so may not be worth it....I'll try again top of hour the free side. But I would say it will confirm eventually esp with holiday coming and network congestion easing but the size worries me

If it doesn't go through it will come back available in your wallet again, eventually. But it's really tough to say how long it will take right now.

Nodes are supposed to start forgetting transactions not picked up within 72 hours and once all the nodes that communicate with your wallet have forgotten the tx, the funds come available to you again. 'Normally' 4-5 days. But right now people are talking about being stuck for weeks in some cases.

Also, some wallets will auto re-broadcast any transactions not picked up each day, so they will never time out and be forgotten by nodes until a miner actually picks them up.

The priority fee was only $70 as the byte size of your transaction was so large btw. Kona explained why that happened.

I have exact same problem. Been trying for a month for nitro to let me withdraw after I cancelled from my meconium wallet and still nothing. Nitro has it as unconfirmed and I gave up on them.

First off, thanks for all the replies, suggestions, etc.

Nitrogen corrected the issue, and all is well. Gotta say, the customer service at Nitrogen went above and beyond in terms of quick replies, explaining things, and ultimately helping solve the issue. The whole anonymous issue surrounding Nitrogen is a bit concerning, but my experience with them has been nothing but solid. This latest issue, which began with frustration, ended with me having more confidence in them than I did a few days ago.

    Again, thanks all!!
