If you directly purchase bitcoin using your bank account (1.5% fee option), they will notify you when your account is eligible for instant purchases. I emailed them yesterday if this includes cash deposits into the USD wallet (which would be nice so you can do free limit orders through GDAX). Last time I emailed them, it took 8 days for a response, so I'll update when I get a response

Yes, the foreign transaction fee varies depending on your card issuer. Some banks don't charge a fee if you have a high end card, some charge anywhere from 1% up to 3%. Originally Posted by RocketMan$$$
