As someone who bets points and money, usually identically. I like betting points because it helps me with discipline. If there's something I love I can come here and bet a bunch of points instead of betting half my bankroll. Sure, when it wins I question why I didn't bet more money but when it loses it's much better dropping a thousand or two in points instead of real money.

Also helps if I'm bored and don't really love any plays, I can mess around with them for points instead just for the action.

I can understand playing for action without money involved. Does Yisman live in Vegas? I see him all over the place on forums. Hell he is leading the $10K contest on Covers. He is a legend over there also. I notice he doesn't talk much or post on other areas of forum.

The amount of real $ yizzer puts in play thru a typical year is A LOT. People make wrong assumptions all the time 'round here about the "pt bettors/SBR poker players" yadda yadda. More than a few of those guys could buy & sell the PT loudmouth jackasses that have a few hundred on a game and delude themselves into thinking they're bigtime. Good gamblers can see value *wherever* it presents itself. They manage $ well and will avail themselves of "free" when it stares them in the face (i.e. betpts). Btw, yizzer & I have a longstanding agreement to pull an epic strip club tour together someday, and I hope we get that done before Trump names him Treasury Secretary so we can do all the dirty stuff sans secret service/NSA spying.
