Lost all my points by going PRO

Thought I got to keep 3000? Guess what I read meant that balance is set to 3000 PRIOR to the 3000 membership deduction

Yes Kermit, maybe this was why you were left with 3000 and I was left with 0?? I sent them a message so we'll see what they say. It's odd to me that the 3000's were taken at separate times...

So you had 6,000 points, and renewed with 3,000 and they took another 3,000?

If you let your Pro membership expire then they take away all other points over 3,000. If you are a Pro you keep all other points after -3,000 fee.

They are taken at separate times because one lot would automatically be taken when you submitted your application and the second lot is taken when the person reviewing your account sees that you had 6000 at the time of renewal.

Those who renew with points don't get an advantage over those who renew via charity. If you choose to use your 3000 points to renew then you'll be left with zero. The other person would be left with 3000.

So the moral of the story is to spend the excess 3000 before renewing?

I think the moral would more be don't allow your membership to lapse for over 3 years and then expect you're going to get special benefits over those who renew via charity. You're reset to 3k when you've let your membership lapse and you're renewing. There's nothing you can spend those excess points on as a non Pro so that's why we - and every friggen poster - says that they're essentially just play tokens in the casino and useless in the Store. If you then choose to use that 3k to renew your membership you'll have zero. Pretty simple stuff

Allow your memebership to lapse over 3 years then expect to get special benefits over those who renew via charity? Wow!! A guy misinterprets the rules and asks for clarification, gets keyboard lashed by staff, made out to be a charity avoiding prick. I guess this is my SBR welcome back lol, fitting!!

I'm going out on a limb to say a special thread won't be made to welcome you back as a pro bud.
