You will see less daytime traffic now that you changed your forum URL from SBRforum.com to sportsbookreview.com. Reason being most corporate firewalls have the expanded URL blacklisted for being a gambling site since it use to be the URL of the review site ONLY. Might not affect alot, but I'm sure it affects many like myself who now have to use my phone.
A lot use the page title and block by term. I wouldnt have guessed this made a difference for most. Sorry though....thats a bummer.Originally Posted by killawookie

Worrying about yesterday's poker is way down on the list of priorities over getting the site functioning properly so ya'll will just have to be patient with that one. No one's forgotten about it but we need to make sure everything's working first. When things aren't working, there's no point in trying to correct stuff from the past.
And yes, Biter - we're aware of that issue. There's another thread about it somewhere. Should be fixed soon. xo

I promise no one's forgotten. They just have to get the whole platform stable and back to normal first and then they can work on other things. No one's going to be disadvantaged in the poker race because of the switch or be able to take advantage because they were sat at a table alone while no one else could get in. Just need to bare with us a bit

Hi guys,
There were two interrupted poker tournaments Thursday night for the World Poker Cup for the 9PM and 11PM games. A total of seven users still registered in the software have had the poker winnings removed from the invalid games, and do not receive credit toward World Poker Cup for this play.
9PM game (future standings deductions as follows)
GaryDN: 1 cash and 600 points
dngf: 1 cash and 400 points
zacharyj53: 1 cash and 300 points
roymunson: 1 cash and 250 points
11PM game: (future standings deductions as follows)
Empiremaker : 1 cash and 600 points
ronpaul2008: 1 cash and 400 points
thechaoz: 1 cash and 300 points
We will run an extra 9PM and 11PM tournament tomorrow night in light of user demand. We will be unable to filter out participants from Thursday so please do not ask, but this is the best we can do and hopefully a fair resolution. We also would be unable to run a makeup during the week of scheduled play due to software limitations.

For a period of time, posters lost the ability to set their User Status. The User Status is back!
How to set your User Status:
Click the edit pencil to set status underneath the SBR log-in box in the top right of the posting forum.
Click the edit pencil above your avatar in any post and type in your status.
FYI i was able to register fro the 9 pm just now but took 2 try'si also noted 5 player only wit 1/2 hour to go for the closing.

My poker abilities are horrible everyone knows that. My skill at poker is that I am twice as old as the majority of the people I play against so I have some patience. So even though worrying about yesterday's poker is way down on the list of priorities over getting the site functioning properly. Even JJ could see that I should get my 10 points back if you are not going to give me the 400 I legitimately won with my skills last night.
