Sam's leaving was planned and SBR was prepared for it as he has a family and didn't want to move to CR but unfortunately coincided with a major website meltdown. I'm not techie at all but obv there have been issues here this past week which not only made it impossible for non US to see their sportsbook cash in the store but for everyone to renew properly. (AHEM SBR FORUM - I'm still waiting for an apology for that or I'll keep saying I told you so.)

As far as a couple of the bigger retailers verifying SBR, it's like anything else. They operate on their own timeframes and we sadly can't do anything to change that. We faced the same problem when Aussie and NZ users started to buy ipads from the store (ie I bought two). Apple put SBR through the ringer to verify everything to make sure it wasn't some sort of money laundering/drug scheme and that was from Sam's account out of the US. And then like I said our whole pizza thing for down here went busto because even the big pizza chains gave SBR a hard time and we finally said f it. It'll get sorted. Just a pain in the ass that the server shit happened at the same time with the store migration but it'll soon be fine and back to normal. People are getting Pro renewals and can't even fill out the apps properly. That's the main priority I think right now as the other stuff is out of SBR's hands.

You gave us some really good information here and I thank you for letting us know what's going on here. Getting the Pro renewals is first priority I would think and the other stuff can be put on hold. I hope that everything will get taken care of here and I hope that Sam checks in from time to time to let us know how he is doing there in CR. It's a great place to retire considering that it is pretty affordable there to live there if you have a good income coming in for retirement. I hope everything works out for everyone here and we get back on track for football season. I bet you are glad this didn't happen right in the middle of the NFL and CFB season. It would have made it a major mess.

Dominos is a separate and ongoing issue. You might recall some of the previous announcements that were made in the past few months. Pizza Hut and Papa Johns remain reliable.

As for the gift card option, absolutely. It's not our intent to limit your options or take away an item a guy has saved for months for. We've made a number of successful orders before getting flagged through a few of these sites, unfortunately in some cases they seem to wait until you spend a pretty penny.

Even if it was only for US$ cards, a lot of us travel to the US regularly and can use sites like Amazon. There would be no shipping costs for for cards for emails or just letter postage to Canada.

I cannot use the sportsbooks cash anymore with the new SBR restrictions and I will not create more new accounts through SBR when I have to deposit more money.

The excuse used by SBR was shipping costs, allowing us to use gift cards would not incur shipping costs.

I agree that the current restrictions on sportsbook cash place too many limitations on Canadians wishing to order them. It would be amazing if there could be alternative things we could purchase, or eligibility towards pre-existing account holders for some sports books.

I'm still only seeing DraftKings as a renew option (other than donation or points). After reading this thread i am safe to assume that sportsbook renewal options will be coming back to International Users (Canadian)? Pro expires on the 22nd and hope we can fix this before then

I already deposited to Bodog (where I went pro) but SBR does not have me as signing up through them so that cancels them. I previously used DSI but I am not going to deposit $$ there as I do not trust that there is no collusion and getting money out of them is painful and expensive.

Bottom line, if I could use Bodog for Sportsbook cash, I would be happy but I have had two separate orders canceled (one before and one after I deposited the required $$).
