    850 betpoints loan Needed

I need to renew my SBR pro membership. Since I can't renew by depositing at a book anymore, and since I don't want to donate $$ to a charity, I have no choice but to buy my membership for 3000 points. I'm about 850 Points shy.

You will be paid back as fast as I get them, and if you look at my logs, that should be pretty quickly. I've never asked for a loan before, so I'm not familiar with the going rates. Please post your loan offers below and hopefully we can work something out.

    Thanks.

At 12 points a day, you should be paid back in 75 days or less. I figure I'll pay in 50 point chunks to make it easier to keep track of.

Does your pro expire the end of this month?

    850 for:

    890 48 hours
    930 1 week
    970 2 weeks
    1,010 4 weeks

    Starting 3/25:
+1% of outstanding balance (if paid off at 12/day, would come out to 1,042 total cost of loan)
minimum weekly payment of 30 points or 1% outstanding balance penalty
for every 10 points over 20 paid per week, weekly interest reduced by 1 point (minimum 0)

    Let me know!

Wow, those are crazy rates. Is that really what I'm looking at for a betpoints loan? The numbers just don't make sense. If those are normal rates, i may have to explore other options. Thanks for posting them though.

20% -30% is fairly standard for a large loan

beyond this the max a first time borrower gets is traditionally 100 pts.. so this will probably be your only offer as Triple_D has been way more than fair and semi (insane) to even offer you it

Probably because he lives in the US. Their only options for renewal are with points or $200 charity donation.

No problem! As an alternative solution, you could loan your points out at less-crazy rate and use the profits to renew

heh. I wish I had time to do that. I don't mean any disrespect when I say the rates are crazy. I understand the risks you guys take dealing with forum people. Here in SBR, like stash inferred, I'm a high-risk first time borrower with whom you are semi-insane to lend to. In the real world, I own a small business, have never been late with a payment in my life, and have a credit score in the 99th percentile. So when I hear an APR of greater than 200%, it is a little shocking.

To be honest, all my betpoints go to buying pizza for my few employees. Any time there is trivia, I gather them around the computer and we take a shot at having a free lunch on friday . That's pretty much the the only reason I want to remain a pro... it's fun for them.

I'm going to explore a few more options and see if I can amass the points without paying that high of an interest rate. If any of you guys have ever been interested in the world of bitcoin, PM me on the other forum and maybe we can work something out. Here is a link to my informational thread:

If all else fails, I'll be back to take you up on some kind of offer. At worst, I guess I'll be building good credit here at SBR in case I ever have a pizza emergency .

Understood, no disrespect taken! APRs are considerably higher for a variety of economic reasons, but lack of recourse is a big one. Good luck!
